Darius Garland Injury Update: Saturday 11/8/25 vs. Bulls

The Cleveland Cavaliers will face the Chicago Bulls tonight as part of the eight-game NBA Saturday slate. But the Cavaliers will be doing so without Darius Garland, who has been ruled out due to injury management.

The two-time All-Star had offseason surgery on his big toe which kept him out the start of this season. Garland made his return to the Cavaliers on Wednesday against the 76ers and was limited to eight points and four assists in 26 minutes of play. He remained in the lineup for Friday’s matchup against the Wizards. Garland looked more like himself and finished with 20 points and nine assists in 28 minutes of play.

On the second night of a back-to-back, the Cavaliers are electing to play it safe and giving the 25-year-old the night off.

Cleveland has done just fine staying afloat without Garland this year, but you can see the offensive peak they can hit with him on the court. The Cavaliers were off to a 4-3 start to the season before Garland’s return and enter tonight’s matchup on a three-game winning streak.

Chicago has been one of the early surprises of this NBA season and the Cavaliers will need to bring their best effort tonight. The Bulls sit in second place in the Eastern Conference with a 6-2 record. They play an up-tempo style of basketball with Josh Giddey at the center of the production.

Looking at the odds for tonight, the Cavaliers enter as 8.5-point favorites while the Bulls hold +275 odds of winning outright on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 238.5 for the matchup.
