While Will Pauling isn’t Notre Dame’s leading receiver, he has been Carr’s favorite target in the red zone. Pauling leads the team in receiving touchdowns and has found the end zone in five straight games. Notre Dame should dominate this game and move the ball with ease. With so many scoring chances abound, Pauling is likely to reach the end zone for a sixth consecutive game.
Blake Horvath Anytime TD (+135)
Blake Horvath is having a special season for Navy. The Navy quarterback is in his second season as the full-time starter and has his team in contention for an American Conference title and a College Football Playoff berth. This game against Notre Dame is a great chance for Navy to prove it can compete with a College Football Playoff team, something that would go a long way in getting it a bid if it wins its conference. Navy’s offense has been spectacular under Horvath, averaging over 32 points per game this season. Horvath has been a decent passer in this run-dominant offense, while also accounting for nearly all of their scores on the ground as well.
Of Navy’s 37 total touchdowns this season, Horvath has run or passed for 20 of them. Other than the season opener, where he barely played, Horvath has at least one rushing touchdown in every other game this season. Notre Dame will be the toughest defense they have faced this season, but Horvath should be able to break at least one run loose for a score. These teams played last season, and Horvath was phenomenal, rushing for 129 yards and a touchdown. Horvath won’t be afraid of Notre Dame and should find the end zone for the eighth straight game.
