Week 11 of the college football season has a great slate of Saturday games, headlined by an SEC matchup between the LSU Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Germie Bernard Anytime TD (-110)
Germie Bernard has been fantastic for Alabama this season. Ryan Williams was a freshman sensation for Alabama last season, which caused Bernard to fly under the radar. Bernard put up great numbers last season for the Crimson Tide, but has been even better this season. He leads Alabama in every receiving category and has eight touchdowns in eight games this season. Alabama is coming off the bye week, which gave Kalen DeBoer and Ryan Grubb sufficient time to draw up some trick plays. Nobody is better in those gadget plays than Bernard, someone who has been with both of them since their time at Washington. LSU could be lacking motivation in the first game since their coach got fired and their season was officially ended. This could be an Alabama onslaught, which would lead to Bernard adding another touchdown to his season total.
Harlem Berry Anytime TD (+270)
It has been a disastrous season for the LSU offense. Garrett Nussmeier has not lived up to his preseason Heisman candidate expectations. However, the biggest disaster has been the LSU rushing attack. The Tigers rank 111th in the nation in EPA/rush and 130th in offensive rushing success rate. Last season’s leading rusher, Caden Durham, was never able to get going. Finally, over the past two games, LSU turned to backup running back Harlem Berry. Against Vanderbilt, Berry got 11 carries compared to Durham’s seven. Then last time out against Vanderbilt, Berry led the team in rushing once again, scoring his second touchdown of the season. Against the Aggies, he averaged 6.6 yards per carry and found the end zone. If LSU is going to get into the end zone in this game, it’s more likely to be on the ground. Alabama has a stout pass defense, but ranks 71st in defensive EPA/rush. Berry has led the team in carries back-to-back games, and as LSU looks to the future, the freshman should keep getting more touches.
