Jaime Jaquez Jr. played 33 minutes, and finished with 18 points, eight rebounds, nine assists and two blocks Friday vs. the Charlotte Hornets. After the game, though, it was reported that Jaquez Jr. suffered a sprain to his left ankle. There’s been no mention of when the injury occurred.
Miami hosts Portland on Saturday and his status has yet to be determined.
If he’s unable to go, Nikola Jovic and Simone Fontecchio would likely soak up most of his minutes.
