What happened to Geno Smith? Injury updates vs. Broncos 11/6/25

UPDATE: Despite returning to the game, Smith is now listed as questionable to return with a quad injury.

UPDATE: Geno Smith has returned to the game.

Less than a minute into the fourth quarter of Thursday night’s game against the Broncos, Geno Smith rolled to the right and scrambled up the field but was tripped up by a defender. Another defender then jumped on top of him.

Smith was able to gingerly make his way to the sideline and proceeded to the medical tent. Kenny Pickett is now in the game.

Prior to exiting, Smith went 12-of-21 for 94 yards and a touchdown. He rushed three times for seven yards.
