Struggling Western Conference squads face off in the NBA’s lone game of the evening, as the Phoenix Suns host the Los Angeles Clippers at Mortgage Matchup Center on Thursday night.
Both teams are coming off double-digit losses and will be missing multiple key players. Dillon Brooks (groin) and Jalen Green (hamstring) are out for Phoenix, while Kawhi Leonard (personal) and James Harden (ankle) headline the Clippers’ injury report.
Tipoff is set for 9:00 p.m. ET. The Suns enter as 2.5-point home favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the Clippers listed as +114 underdogs. The total is set at 223.5 points.

Devin Booker has been exceptional for a Phoenix team desperate to fill the Kevin Durant-sized hole in its offense. The star guard is averaging 31 points and seven assists per game while shooting an efficient 51.6% from the floor and 43.1% from downtown — numbers that would not only set a new career high, but also mark the first time he’s shot above 40% from deep in a season.
Booker has knocked down three or more triples in three games this season, hitting four against Memphis, five against Utah, and a season-high six in a Halloween rematch against the Jazz. He looks poised to surpass the threshold against Los Angeles, a team that allows the sixth-most three-point attempts and the third-most makes per game in the NBA (15.6).
Ivica Zubac 12+ Rebounds (+102)
Clippers big man Ivica Zubac entered this season riding the momentum of his best rebounding campaign yet, when he averaged 12.6 boards per game in 2024-25 — fourth-best in the NBA. The former Laker is currently pulling down 9.7 rebounds per game, hitting double digits three times so far, including a season-high 18 against the Heat on Monday.
Zubac is well-positioned to grab at least 12 boards on Thursday night. With the team’s next-best rebounders — Kawhi Leonard and James Harden — both sidelined, his opportunities on the glass are bound to increase.
Kris Dunn 2+ Steals (+127)
For a team lacking much of a defensive identity outside of Kawhi Leonard, Kris Dunn has done an impressive job clogging passing lanes. The former No. 5 overall draft pick is averaging 1.7 steals per game in his second campaign with the Clippers, matching his mark from last season.
Much like the Clippers, the Suns are sloppy on offense and allow the fourth-most turnovers (17.3) and opponent steals (10) per game. Dunn has recorded three steals in three separate games and could be poised for at least two takeaways on Thursday night.
