After missing the first seven games of the 2025-26 campaign, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland is available to make his season debut on Wednesday vs. the Philadelphia 76ers.
Garland underwent toe surgery this offseason and has spent the last several weeks ramping up his activity level. Now, he’s finally been cleared to return to game action — a significant boost for this Cleveland lineup.
Garland’s return brings some much-needed firepower to this Cavaliers’ rotation. Last season, he averaged 20.6 points as a valuable offensive asset with a career-best 47.2% FG% and a 40.1% mark from beyond the arc. Aside from his scoring, the point guard also worked as one of the primary facilitators alongside Donovan Mitchell with 6.7 assists per game. With Cleveland ranked 18th in assists per game this season, Garland’s presence as a playmaker should make life easier for his teammates.
Elsewhere on the injury report, Jarrett Allen and Sam Merrill are both available. De’Andre Hunter is out. Of course, Garland will reclaim his place in the starting five.
At 4-3, the Cavaliers sit seventh in the Eastern Conference. They’re -11.5 favorites over the 76ers on DraftKings Sportsbook with -440 odds to win outright on the Moneyline.
