Best NBA player prop bets for Wednesday 11/5/25

A jam-packed 11-game slate is on tap across the NBA tonight, with several can’t-miss matchups. The Timberwolves will travel to MSG for a date with Jalen Brunson and the Knicks. Elsewhere, the surging 76ers will hope to earn a win over the title-contending Cavaliers. As a nightcap, Victor Wembanyama hits Hollywood when the Spurs take on the Lakers.

With so much hoops on tap, narrowing down a few player prop bets can be difficult. Still, the options are endless for bettors looking to cash in. Here are my three favorite prop bet picks on DraftKings Sportsbook for Wednesday’s basketball action.

Top NBA prop bet picks

Cade Cunningham 45+ points + assists + rebounds (-107)

Despite some shaky shooting to start the year, Cade Cunningham has been on a tear this season. Through seven games, the guard is averaging 23.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 9.6 assists. That’s despite middling shooting splits (43/30/75). Considering Detroit’s lack of offensive firepower, Cade has one of the NBA’s highest floors for nightly production. For bettors, a safe floor makes the 24-year-old one of the safest players to place a wager on.

What makes Cunningham so dangerous is his ability to impact a game in different ways. On Monday vs. Memphis, he dropped 33 points. Two days before that, the Oklahoma State alum recorded 18 assists. In each of his previous three outings, Cade has notched at least 45 P+R+A. Tonight, the Pistons will take on one of the NBA’s worst defensive units. The Jazz have allowed the tenth-most points (118.6) and third-most assists (29.1) per game this season. Center Walker Kessler (shoulder) remains out, leaving Utah without its best rim protector. Cunningham should have little trouble making his presence felt in this one.

Isaiah Jackson 16+ points + rebounds (-125)

The short-handed Pacers are still trying to figure out their identity on both ends of the ball. Myles Turner’s departure for Milwaukee this summer has left a major void down low. So far, Isaiah Jackson has done an admirable job stepping in at center. Through seven games, the former first-round pick is averaging 7.9 points and 5.7 rebounds. The 23-year-old’s efficiency (51% FG) and shot-blocking prowess makes him invaluable.

Jackson’s playing time has increased, taking the floor for 20+ minutes in each of his previous three appearances. There’s no reason to expect anything less tonight given Indiana’s lack of center depth. Tonight’s opponent, the Nets, are nothing short of a pushover down low. Brooklyn is allowing the second-most rebounds (56.6) and fifth-most points in the paint (60.0) per game this season. Jackson has reached the 16 points + rebounds threshold in all three of his previous contests. There’s no reason he can’t do so on Tuesday against what might be the NBA’s worst club.

Rui Hachimura 2+ three-pointers made (-114)

Despite missing both LeBron James and Luka Doncic for an extended period of time, the Lakers keep winning. Los Angeles, 6-2, will face arguably its biggest test of the season tonight vs. San Antonio. As is usually the case, scoring inside is a challenge against the Spurs due to Victor Wembanyama. The shot-blocking monster is capable of dominating against almost anyone. If the Purple and Gold are going to score, it may need to come from the outside.

One player that’s flown under the radar for LA is Rui Hachimura. The wing doesn’t put up spectacular numbers, but he’s consistent. This season, he’s averaging 16.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. In addition, he’s posted 59/46/82 shooting splits so far. That level of efficiency, especially from beyond the arc, should come in handy tonight. Opponents are knocking down 39.3% of their three-pointers against San Antonio, the NBA’s fifth-highest mark. Hachimura has drained at least two treys in six of his eight appearances. All signs are pointing to another productive evening from long distance.
