The NBA has a busy Wednesday night of action with 11 games on the schedule. It’s a jam-packed night of hoops from across the country, and DraftKings Sportsbook has all kinds of ways for you to get involved. Along with picks on the Moneyline and against the spread for each contest, DraftKings Sportsbook has hundreds of player props to consider, including one of my favorite ways to attack the slate – 3-point props. My top three-point prop bets for Wednesday include plays for Kyshawn George, Jaren Jackson Jr., Cooper Flagg, and Rui Hachimura.
Regardless of the final results, cheering for specific players to hit three-pointers is a fun way to enjoy all the action from the hardwood. Normally, I try to target lower 3-point prop totals so that they can hit quickly, either early or late, without needing lots of build-up. I also usually play these props in a round robin style so that even if they don’t all hit, they still carry solid returns.
Breaking down the numbers and matchups, here is why I like these three 3-point props on Sunday.
Top 3-point prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Kyshawn George over 2.5 3PM (+132)
The Wizards are in Boston on Wednesday night, looking to snap a five-game losing streak. They’re just 1-6 to start the season, but one very encouraging sign has been the progress made by 21-year-old Kyshawn George. George played 68 games as a rookie, averaging 8.7 points and 1.7 3PM in 26.5 minutes per game with a 15.9% usage rate. This year, his usage has jumped to 21.8%, and he has produced 17.9 points and 3.0 3PM per contest.
George has gone over this 3-point prop bet line in three of his last four games and in five of his seven games on the season.
George has shown his high ceiling in the early part of the season, and he will look to continue his improvement on Wednesday. Since it is a jump from last year’s production, his 3-point props are still available at very favorable plus-money odds for the Wizards road game this Wednesday. I like his chances at knocking down at least three triples against Boston.
Jaren Jackson Jr. over 1.5 3PM (-103)
The Grizzlies host the Rockets in an interesting Western Conference matchup at 8:00 p.m. ET. While the Ja Morant drama has gotten most of the attention in Memphis, Jackson has also gotten off to a strong start, averaging 18.0 points per game. He has made multiple 3-point shots in four of his last five games and is coming off season-high four 3PM on Monday against the Pistons.
Jackson’s three-point attempts are actually slightly down from last year, but he’s been shooting at a 39.4% clip from behind the arc, which would match his career high from all the way back in 2019-20.
The Rockets have played at a slow pace this season, but they still rank in the middle of the pack in opponents 3-point percentage and 3PM. At almost even money odds, JJJ is a nice pick to drop multiple threes against Houston at home.
Cooper Flagg over 1.5 3PM (+100)
The Mavericks will remain without Anthony Davis (calf) for a third straight game when they host the Pelicans on Wednesday night. Especially without Davis, the Mavs are giving No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg plenty of space to learn on the job.
Flagg has hit multiple 3-pointers in each of his last two games without Davis, contributing 16 points against the Pistons in Mexico and 12 points against the Rockets in Houston.
In his last home game, he had a double-double to lead the team to one of their two victories on the year, but he didn’t even attempt a 3-point shot in that game.
While it’s not a huge part of his game, he is taking enough 3-point attempts to be worth a look at even money to hit at least two 3PM on Wednesday night against the Pelicans since he has gone over this number in four of his last six games, including his two without AD. The Pelicans should be a favorable matchup for him as well, since they give up the third-most points per game in the NBA and the seventh-most 3PM per game.
Rui Hachimura over 1.5 3PM (-114)
The Lakers have been one of the most 3-point-heavy teams in the NBA this season without LeBron James in the mix in the offense. They host the Spurs in a great late Wednesday matchup, and in that game, I like Rui Hachimura’s 3-point props to hit at least a pair of triples.
Rui has started every game for the Lakers and is averaging 1.9 3PM on 4.1 3-point attempts per game. He knocked down multiple threes in each of his last three games and six of his eight games this season. On Monday, he had a season-high 28 points in a win over the Blazers and hit two 3-pointers in that strong performance.
Even though he probably won’t carry that much offensive workload every night, he is getting enough opportunities to be a strong contributor and has a good chance to deliver more than one 3-pointer again on Wednesday against the Spurs.
