At this point, the waiver wire is whatever you make of it in fantasy football. For title contenders in a comfortable spot, this is an opportune time to find some long-term, high-upside contributors. As for those fighting for playoff positioning, grabbing an instant-impact player could salvage the season.
Regardless of what it is you’re looking for, there are solid options available in most leagues. How much should managers be willing to spend on some of Week 10’s most enticing waiver wire targets?
Week 10 Fantasy Football FAAB Values
WR Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars
10-12% of FAAB
Travis Hunter (knee), placed on injured reserve, may not return this season. Brian Thomas Jr. suffered an ankle injury late during Sunday’s game vs. Las Vegas. Even if the wide receiver is healthy, uncertainty surrounds Jacksonville’s offense. That’s opened up a sizable role for one of the lesser-known names on this roster, Parker Washington. Against the Raiders, he snagged eight catches for 90 yards on nine targets. One game prior, the third-year pro hauled in four receptions for 52 yards.
Even with Hunter and Thomas Jr. active, Washington managed to remain involved in Jacksonville’s passing game. Now, there’s a clear path to weekly fantasy production. Keep in mind, the 23-year-old has garnered a team-leading 19 targets for the Jaguars over their last two games. In addition, he’s logged 88% of all snaps during that time. Sunday’s matchup against a stingy Texans defense could prove difficult. Still, Washington’s long-term potential is too difficult to ignore. The wideout is a legitimate flex option in leagues of 12 or more teams.
UPDATE: The Jaguars have traded for Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The move limits Washington’s fantasy upside. However, he’s still worth an add as a high-end bench piece/ bye week fill-in.
RB Devin Singletary, New York Giants
10% of FAAB
Tyrone Tracy Jr. was expected to take full control of New York’s backfield following Cam Skattebo’s season-ending ankle injury. That wasn’t the case last weekend, as the second-year pro was given just eight total touches. Surprisingly, Devin Singletary led the way on the ground, rushing for 43 yards on eight carries. He also chipped in with two catches for eight additional yards. The seventh-year pro is a longtime favorite of head coach Brian Daboll, going back to their days in Buffalo. Was Sunday’s performance an indicator of things to come?
At this point, it’s difficult to say. Without Skattebo, the struggling Giants will likely opt for a committee approach. That means feeding the hot hand, which could vary. However, the floor for this offense has risen under rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. That makes picking up both Singletary and Tracy Jr. a worthwhile endeavor. Given the lack of quality running backs available, the veteran’s potential role as Big Blue’s RB1 is difficult to pass up.
RB Terrell Jennings, New England Patriots
5% of FAAB
Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) was inactive on Sunday, with the potential for a long-term injury. Rookie TreVeyon Henderson was expected to handle the lion’s share of carries for New England. The youngster did make an impact, rushing the ball 14 times for 55 yards while snagging four catches. However, second-year pro Terrell Jennings also saw 12 touches against the Falcons during this contest. He parlayed that into 35 rushing yards, one catch and a touchdown.
Since Antonio Gibson’s season-ending torn ACL, the Patriots have needed a backup running back. Now, with Stevenson sidelined, Jennings could be poised for a much bigger role. The second-year pro was given three carries inside the red zone against Atlanta. In comparison, Henderson only got two. If New England gives Jennings more work near the goal line, he becomes an appealing high-upside play in most deep leagues. For those desperate to add an instant-impact RB3/flex, the newest Pats weapon should be picked up.
Other names to consider
- Marcus Mariota is poised to take over at quarterback for the foreseeable future following Jayden Daniels’ elbow injury. The veteran’s dual-threat scrambling ability makes him a viable QB1 in deeper leagues.

- On a massive day for Seattle’s offense, Tory Horton was a standout. The rookie snagged four catches for 48 yards and two touchdowns. Fellow wide receiver Cooper Kupp (hamstring) wasn’t particularly effective when healthy. This Super Bowl-caliber Seahawks squad might give the youngster more opportunity going forward.
- Colston Loveland broke out in a major way this weekend in Cincinnati. Against the Bengals, he recorded six catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns. In addition, he caught the game-winning score for Chicago with seconds remaining. The young tight end is starting to live up to his first-round potential.
