A four-game, eight-team featured slate is on tap this Tuesday across the NBA. Figuring out which players to add, and who to avoid, is a daily challenge for fantasy basketball managers. That’s especially true during tonight’s select group of games.
Despite the limited options available this evening, there’s still several ways to find value in your fantasy basketball lineups. Which under the radar names should you be targeting tonight?

PF/C Moussa Diabate, Charlotte Hornets at NOP ($3,900)
Through two weeks of play, the Hornets have gotten surprisingly good production out of their centers. Rookie Ryan Kalkbrenner ($5,000) has been a revelation, offering solid play on both ends of the floor. However, don’t forget about fellow big man Moussa Diabate. The Frenchman hasn’t started in any of his seven appearances thus far. However, he’s averaging 11.0 points and 7.1 rebounds in just over 20 minutes per game. Even more impressive, the fourth-year pro is shooting over 63% from the field.
Those numbers, even in limited action, give Diabate a solid floor for fantasy production. That’s especially true against Tuesday’s opponent, New Orleans. The Pelicans are coughing up 64.5 rebounds per game to opponents, second-highest in the NFL. In addition, the team is allowing the second-most fantasy points to opposing centers. Diabate has scored in double-digits during each of his last three contests. That level of offense, combined with work on the glass and defense, makes him a must-add tonight.
SF/PF Tristan da Silva, Orlando Magic at ATL ($3,900)
Few teams in basketball are more desperate for an offensive spark than the Magic. Despite their terrific defense, the team remains below .500 due to their lackluster shooting. One player that could alleviate some of those problems is Tristan da Silva. The former first-round pick isn’t the most consistent, but he did show flashes during his rookie season. Now in year two, the wing is averaging 10.7 points per game on 45% shooting (36% 3PT). However, coming off of the bench makes his production difficult to predict.
Da Silva is a high-upside, high-risk option. However, at just $3,900, he’s someone worth taking a chance on tonight. Orlando will take on the Hawks, who aren’t exactly a defensive juggernaut. Atlanta has given up the most fantasy points to opposing small forwards this season. When these clubs met on October 24th, da Silva notched 15 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals (33.5 FPTS). A similar performance on Tuesday would make the 24-year-old a must-roster player on this limited fantasy basketball slate.
