Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. was a late addition to the team’s injury report due to a personal matter and will not play Monday night against the Timberwolves.
Porter Jr. is averaging 20.8 points, eight rebounds, and three assists per game with a huge 30.3% usage rate for the Nets this season.
The Nets’ starting lineup hasn’t been announced yet, but Ziaire Williams or Noah Clowney would be the likely candidates to replace Porter.
With Porter off the court this season, Cam Thomas has seen his usage rate jump 7.96 percentage points, soaring to a whopping 40.47%.
The Timberwolves are 10.5-point road favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the Nets listed as +310 underdogs.
