Tyrese Maxey, Philadelphia 76ers at Chicago Bulls ($9,900): Before every Sixers game this season, Maxey has gone to Joel Embiid and said, “Look at me. I’m the captain now.” I kid I kid, but not really. Last season, the usage rate was 28.8%. This season, it’s at 28.6%, but Nick Nurse is playing Maxey a league-leading 42.4 minutes per game and minutes are half the battle. Yo, Joe! Even in a 24-point blowout over Brooklyn, Maxey still played 39 minutes, a season-low! Maxey put up over 60 FPTS in four of six games and he’s averaging 1.37 FPTS per minute this season. Chicago is 11th in defensive rating but ninth in pace.

Jeremiah Fears, New Orleans Pelicans vs. Charlotte Hornets ($4,700): I have been impressed with Fears so far this season. I knew the handle package was elite but I thought he would struggle with shooting efficiency, especially at the rim. Well, he’s at 46% from the field for the season and converting 64.3% on shots within 10 feet of the rim. He’s started the last four games and put up at least 35 FPTS in two of those contests despite playing at least 30 minutes only once this season. Charlotte is sixth in pace and 25th in defensive rating so the environment should be a fantasy-friendly one.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks at Toronto Raptors ($11,500): You don’t need me to espouse about how awesome Giannis is. He’s finished with at least 60 FPTS in four of five games with a high of 80 FPTS. Toronto is very thin in the front court and doesn’t have much rim protection at the moment, so it’s full on ruh roh. Toronto is 24th in defensive rating while being 12th on offense, which means there’s a good chance Antetokounmpo receives a full allotment of playing time.

Trendon Watford, Philadelphia 76ers at Chicago Bulls ($4,100): Watford was dealing with a hamstring issue, so he missed the first three games of the season. Upon his return, he received 18 and 11 minutes but, on Sunday, Watford played a season-high 25 minutes and produced 16 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and a block. His playmaking and ability to get his own shot were a welcome addition to the lineup with Paul George still out and Joel Embiid playing limited minutes. I don’t see why Watford wouldn’t continue being a significant part of the rotation.

Nikola Vucevic, Chicago Bulls vs. Philadelphia 76ers ($7,900): I’m not a fan of paying up at center on this slate, but if I had to, I’d probably go with Vucevic. A ringing endorsement! Every year, the demise of Vucevic is announced, but every year, Vucevic sticks his middle finger up in the air and produces fantasy goodies. He’s put up at least 44 FPTS in four of six games this season with two over 50 FPTS.

Moussa Diabate, Charlotte Hornets at New Orleans Pelicans ($3,900): Diabate isn’t starting and playing only around 20 minutes per night, but he makes the most of his time on the court. He’s finished with at least 23 FPTS in five of seven contests with two of those over 30 FPTS. New Orleans is 29th in defensive rating and 28th in defensive rebounding, which has Diabate licking his lips because he’s one of the top offensive rebounders in the game. Amongst players that average at least 15 mpg, Diabate is fourth in offensive rebound rate at 16.7%.
