Week 9 of the 2025-26 NFL season continues with a great Sunday Night Football matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Commanders. Zach Ertz More Than 0.5 Rushing + Receiving TDs
Zach Ertz has been one of the only consistent receiving options for the Commanders this season. Star receiver Terry McLaurin has missed several games already this season and will be out for this game as well. Ertz ranks second on the team in receptions and receiving yards with McLaurin sidelined. While McLaurin is out, Jayden Daniels is back for the Commanders this week. That should help them be more explosive in the passing game. Ertz has four touchdowns on the season, and all four came in games that Jayden Daniels started. In the three starts made by Marcus Mariota, Ertz was not able to find the end zone. The Seahawks are also likely to be without star safety Julian Love once again, which will help Ertz find space and get another touchdown in this game.
Zach Charbonnet More Than 8.5 Receiving Yards
Zach Charbonnet could be in for a big role in this game against the Commanders. While Kenneth Walker III is the primary back, Charbonnet is averaging 12 carries per game and has played a role in the passing game the last few weeks as well. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is having a sensational season for the Seahawks and is dominating the target share. Smith-Njigba has been explosive, but Cooper Kupp has been a solid option in short-yardage situations. For this game though, Kupp is likely out with an injury. That means those targets that typically would go to Kupp underneath will likely go to tight ends and running backs. Charbonnet has gone over this number in two of his past three games and should get more targets in this game with Kupp sidelined.
Tory Horton Less Than 32.5 Receiving Yards
Tory Horton has yet to find a consistent role in this offense. Horton showed some flashes of brilliance in the preseason that made many think he could be a breakout rookie star. However, Horton has not been able to find many targets to prove himself. In seven games played this season, Horton has three games with zero targets and one game with only one target. He has only gone over this number of 32.5 yards in one game all season. This number is higher because of an anticipated increase in target share if Cooper Kupp doesn’t play. However, Sam Darnold has shown that he has no problem throwing to Jaxon Smith-Njigba over and over again. The Seahawks should feed it more to the running backs and AJ Barner. That should lead to Horton staying under this number once again.
