The 2025 NFL season is on to the Sunday slate of Week 9. There are plenty of ways to get in on the action. Here’s a look at my favorite player prop bets for this week’s schedule, all of which you can place on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Without further ado, here are three of the best player props for NFL Week 9, including Josh Allen, Oronde Gadsden II and Drake London.
NFL Week 9 Player Props
Oronde Gadsden II Anytime TD (+150)
Oronde Gadsden II has been the breakout star of the past three weeks in the NFL. The fifth-round pick out of Syracuse struggled to carve out a role in the Chargers’ offense to start the season. However, he started to take the bigger snap share against the Dolphins and proved that he was deserving of the role. He had seven catches for 68 yards against Miami. However, the following week he really broke out on the national stage by going for 164 yards and a touchdown against the Colts. Gadsden then proved that it wasn’t a fluke, going for 77 yards and a touchdown last week. After back-to-back games with a touchdown, Gadsden has a great chance to score against the Titans this week as well. Gadsden has a big body and is a great red zone target for Justin Herbert. However, he is also athletic enough to break loose for a score from anywhere on the field. The Titans’ defense ranks 29th in EPA/dropback, so it should be a big game for Herbert.
Drake London o61.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
Drake London is making his return for the Falcons this week. Both London and his quarterback, Michael Penix Jr., missed last week’s game against the Dolphins. Atlanta has now lost back-to-back games, and if it wants to get its season back on track, this is a must-win contest. Penix and London have had a great connection since Penix took over at the end of last season. London has shown what he is capable of with Penix under center. In the two games prior to the loss to the 49ers, London combined for 268 receiving yards.
The Patriots have been brilliant the past few weeks, but they have not faced an elite passing attack. Other than the win over the Bills, New England’s four other wins came against Dillon Gabriel, Cam Ward, Bryce Young and Spencer Rattler. London will be by far the best receiver the Patriots have faced over that five-game stretch. He ranks fourth in the NFL in target share and should have a big game against the Patriots. Despite the weak schedule of opposing quarterbacks, New England ranks 24th in dropback success rate. Against a better passing attack, it could be a good day for Penix and London.
Josh Allen Anytime TD (+100)
The Bills and Chiefs face off in what has become the NFL’s signature rivalry over the past few seasons. These teams have played in the regular season and postseason regularly since Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen rose to prominence. While Mahomes has dominated the postseason matchups, Allen and the Bills have dominated the regular season matchups. In fact, the Bills have won four straight regular-season games against the Chiefs. A big reason for that is Allen constantly rising to the occasion in these high-profile matchups. Allen had 12 carries against the Chiefs last season, 10 carries in 2023, 12 carries in 2022 and 11 carries in 2021. In three of those four games, Allen found the end zone with his legs. He had two rushing touchdowns last week against Carolina and should keep that rolling with another rushing touchdown in this game.
