Washington State vs. Oregon State prediction, pick for CFB Week 10 on Saturday 11/1/25

We have a PAC-2 rivalry game on Saturday night, and I’m scratching my head trying to figure this one out. Over the years, backing Oregon State at home in Corvallis on Saturday nights has been a spot I like to back, but this Beavers team has had just a dreadful season.

Oregon State got it’s first win of the season when it last played … over the Lafayette Leopards. Prior to that, the Beavers were 0-7, losing by nearly 18 points per game. In fact, only one of those losses has come by three points or less, in a game they led Houston by multiple scores and came undone late. This simply is not a good team, and Washington State has been building something good over the last month or so.

After getting stomped out by Washington in a rivalry game, the Cougars seem to have turned a corner. They dominated Colorado State, and then went on a road trip in which they nearly pulled two stunners. Wazzu took Ole Miss down to the wire and lost by three, and then lost the following week at Virginia by two points. Washington State was an underdog in both games by a combined 50 points.

Wazzu took some of that momentum back home last week, defeating Toledo by three touchdowns in a game that floated around a pick’em all week. The Cougars are just playing good football right now, and I expect them to continue to do so in Corvallis on Saturday night. Yes, the rivalry is worth something, but Wazzu has won nine of the last 11 in this matchup, so this spot won’t intimidate the Cougs. I’ll lay the short number on the road.

CFB Pick: Washington State -3.5 (-110)
