After three straight weeks on the road, the UFC returns to its home base, the Apex, for a Fight Night event. A Featherweight fight between No. 12 Steve Garcia vs. No. 13 David Onama headlines the event. Two top-10 Heavyweights, No. 6 Waldo Cortes-Acosta and No. 9 Ante Delija, are facing each other in the co-main event.
Here are my three best bets for Saturday’s UFC Fight Night.
Steve Garcia Moneyline (-135)
This week’s UFC Main Event between Garcia and Onama has the potential to be an excellent 145-pound contest. Both fighters are currently on a winning streak and are rising contenders in the Featherweight division. Although they both have won four or more consecutive bouts, Garcia has been more impressive. Garcia has won six in a row, with five of them coming by knockout in the first two rounds. Additionally, Garcia boasts a stronger resume, having defeated Calvin Kattar, Kyle Nelson, and Chase Hooper.
Given Garcia’s recent success, taking him at -135 on DraftKings Sportsbook is an excellent value play. Onama is a slightly more accurate striker, but Garcia should be able to naturalize that with his tremendous power. Garcia proved against Kattar that he is more than a knockout artist and can win a longer contest.
Ante Delija to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission (+185)
Ante Delija entered the UFC with a ton of hype surrounding him. He is a former PFL Champion and has the support of UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall. Delija is a friend and training partner of Aspinall and should be more prepared than ever for this bout, having spent time in his camp for his last fight. Delija beat Marcin Tybura via first-round knockout in his UFC debut and is 7-1 in his previous eight fights.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Delija is a -130 favorite with Cortes-Acosta being a +110 underdog. However, since four of Delija’s last five wins have come by finish, betting on him at +185 to win by KO/TKO/DQ or submission seems like the best play. Delija has the perfect aggressive style to catch Cortes-Acosta off guard, leading to a big victory.
Themba Gorimbo Moneyline (-135)
From May 2023 to October 2024, Themba Gorimbo won four consecutive fights, but his win streak ended against Vicente Luque in his previous bout at UFC 310. Gorimbo hasn’t fought since losing to Luque and has had an 11-month layoff. However, Gorimbo is making his return against Jeremiah Wells and seems hungry to win his first fight in a year.
Wells is the underdog in this matchup at +114 while Gorimbo is a -135 favorite. Wells is talented but could struggle against Gorimbo, who is four inches taller (6’1″ vs. 5’9″) with a three-inch larger reach (77″ vs. 74″). Gorimbo is the better all-around fighter in this fight and has all the tools to get back in the win column.
