MLB Best Bets: Toronto Blue Jays vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Best Prop Bets for World Series Game 7

A great MLB regular season and a postseason full of memorable performances will come to an end on Saturday with an epic Game 7 showdown between the defending champion Dodgers and the upstart Toronto Blue Jays, looking to claw their way back to the title for the first time in over 30 years. What heroes will step onto the stage and shine on Saturday? Let’s jump into Saturday night’s matchup and pick out a few fun player prop bets to play on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Both teams will go with an “all hands on deck” approach in the final game of the year, so both bullpens will likely be heavily utilized behind starters Max Scherzer and Shohei Ohtani.

As always, DraftKings Sportsbook has all your betting needs covered for the World Series. There are literally hundreds of prop bets available, but let’s look at a few of my favorite player prop bet options for Game 7.

Dodgers at Blue Jays Prop Bets for Game 7

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 3+ Hits + Runs + RBI (+150)

However the matchups play out and the game goes down, I don’t see the Blue Jays going down without a fight, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will definitely not go quietly into the offseason.

In 17 games in the playoffs, Guerrero is hitting .412 with 28 hits, 17 runs scored and 15 RBIs. With a total of 60 HRR (hits, runs and RBI), he’s averaging 3.5 HRR per game in the playoffs. In the World Series, he has 19 HRR for an average of 3.0 HRR per game against the Dodgers.

Guerrero went over this total in four of the six games in the series, including the first matchup against Ohtani, when he went 2-for-4 with a key home run in Game 4.

I included Guerrero as one of my top home run props of the day, and if he does go yard, this HRR prop would hit with just one swing. There are many more paths to victory with this prop, though, and getting it at +150 feels like great value.

If he delivers another good game on Saturday, Guerrero can put an exclamation point on his historic postseason. He’s +130 to win World Series MVP, the second-shortest odds on the board behind Shohei Ohtani.

Shohei Ohtani under 9.5 outs recorded (-107)

Speaking of Shohei, he comes with all kinds of props on Saturday since he’ll be starting the game as the pitcher and is also expected to be hitting leadoff. It makes sense for him to be the starter if he’s in the pitching plan at all since the “Ohtani rule” allows him to stay in the game and hit as the DH after leaving the game as the starting pitcher but not as a relief pitcher. Manager Dave Roberts said Ohtani could pitch two innings or could pitch four innings depending on how things go.

Things went very well for Ohtani in Game 4, when he worked six innings and gave up four runs on six hits while also picking up six strikeouts. His strikeout line for this game is tempting, but the Blue Jays do such a good job at strikeout suppression, I think the stronger play here is to play the under on Ohtani’s outs recorded. The Blue Jays will do all they can to drive up his pitch count, and the Dodgers will have plenty of options out of the bullpen behind Ohtani. Since he’ll be pitching on just three days rest, I don’t think Roberts will push him to work into the fourth inning unless everything is going perfect and his pitch count is extremely low. He threw 93 pitches in Game 4, and he will most likely be on a strict pitch limit even though it’s Game 7.

I also like the odds in this game on Ohtani to draw over 1.5 walks as a batter at +144, since the Blue Jays will be extremely careful pitching to him and will intentionally walk him in almost any scenario if the game is close late.

Addison Barger 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI (+152)

I’m going back to the well again on Addison Barger’s HRR prop for the second straight game. He went 2-for-4 with a run scored to deliver the green in this prop in Game 5, and he continues his impressive World Series.

The young lefty has two hits in each World Series game except Game 2, going 10-for-21 (.477) with a homer, two doubles, four runs scored and five RBIs. He has been over this HRR line in five of the six games of the series, including each of the last four.

Barger has been excellent throughout the postseason run for Toronto, and he’s a dark horse pick for MVP at +4000 if he has a big game in Game 7 and the Blue Jays win.

Freddie Freeman 1+ RBI (+154)

It’s challenging to find a Dodgers hitter prop to back on Saturday, since the team is hitting only .191 in the series and so many of the key hitters have been very inconsistent in the series.

That applies to Freeman as well, since he is only 5-for-23 (.217) with two RBIs all series, both coming in Game 3. However, Freeman still has the big-game chops to be a strong play and should be well-positioned to deliver runs if he hits third with Shohei Ohtani and Will Smith in front of him on Saturday.

This year in the regular season, Blue Jays starter Max Scherzer gave up 19 homers, and lefties had 13 of those blasts along with a .269 batting average and a .360 wOBA. Since lefties found success against him, I like the number for Freeman to do enough to at least get an RBI. That could come on a homer (and I included Freeman in my home run props) or in a wide variety of other ways. If the Dodgers score a lot of runs on Saturday in Game 7, Freeman will most likely be in on the action and I like his odds for picking up an RBI at some point in Game 7.
