MLB Best Bets: Top Home Run Props for Friday 10/31/25

The World Series heads back to Rogers Centre in Toronto for Game 6 on Friday night, with the home team Blue Jays having two chances to win and claim the World Championship. The defending champs, the Dodgers, will need to win back-to-back games to claim a second straight title.

Both teams have plenty of power in their lineups, and we’ve already had 15 homers in five games so far. As we get ready for a riveting Game 6, let’s dive into the home run props on DraftKings Sportsbook and pinpoint a few players with good home run potential. After taking a look at the matchups, odds and current form of the players available, my favorite home run props for Game 6 are for Freddie Freeman and George Springer.

Just a brief reminder before we swing for the fences: even more than during the regular season, all home run props are long shot bets by their very nature. In fact, with such a small pool of players and elite pitchers, they are even more difficult to hit in the postseason. Home run props are never “safe” picks, but a few key indicators can help point us in the right direction. While home run props can be a fun part of your betting strategy, they shouldn’t be heavily relied on since they’re so volatile. What makes home run props exciting is that the longer odds yield big returns when they do hit.

Breaking down the numbers and matchups, here is why I like these home run props in Friday’s Game 6 matchup.

Freddie Freeman 1+ Home Run (+498)

I mean, if you really want to go with long shots, Alex Call (+990) and Bo Bichette (+880) are interesting plays, but for this post, I’m going with two much more proven options with track records of success in the postseason, plenty of narrative power in their favor, and plenty long enough odds for me.

“Mr. World Series” hit the walk-off homer in the 18-inning marathon in Game 3, which turned out to be the only game the Dodgers won in Los Angeles.

So far, that has been Freeman’s one shining moment in the series. He’s 5-for-20 (.250) with a double and that homer along with four walks, two runs scored and two RBI. Last year in the World Series, he hit four homers in five games against the Yankees, and in his 78 career postseason games, he’s a .269 hitter with 16 homers, a .231 ISO and .370 wOBA.

Not only is Freeman a proven option, but he will be on the strong side of his splits against righty Kevin Gausman, who he has homered against in the past, going 2-for-12 with a double, a home run and two strikeouts in their past head-to-head matchups.

Freeman has come up in the clutch so many times in the past that getting his home run props at almost 5/1 feels like great value, as his team faces elimination Friday night.

George Springer 1+ Home Run (+513)

Picking anyone from the Blue Jays for home run props is challenging since Yoshinobu Yamamoto has looked so unhittable in his last few starts. He is coming off back-to-back complete games on the road against the Brewers in the NLCS and the Blue Jays in Game 2 of this series. He did give up a home run in that start against the Brewers, though, allowing a leadoff long ball to right-handed leadoff hitter Jackson Chourio.

The Blue Jays are hoping to get their own right-handed, leadoff-hitting, playoff-proven power hitter back at the top of their lineup on Friday night. George Springer has missed the last two games with a side injury, but is expected to be in the lineup for Game 6.

Springer is already legendary this postseason for his home run in Game 7 of the ALCS against the Mariners, which will be one of the defining moments of the playoffs, especially if the Jays go on to win the title.

Can he add to that legend in Game 6? Springer has 23 career playoff home runs in 81 games with a .264 batting average, a .270 ISO and a .369 wOBA . He has four homers in this postseason, and three of those have come at home in Toronto.

He had 32 regular season homers in his impressive bounce-back campaign, and 18 of those came at home, where he hit .323 with a .432 wOBA, 183 wRC+ and .270 ISO.

In Game 2 against Yamamoto, Springer led off the game with a double, then was hit by a pitch before grounding out and striking out in his final two plate appearances. That is the only time in his career he’s faced the Japanese righty, but Yamamoto’s splits do indicate that right-handed hitters have a better chance of going yard against him on Friday. He gave up 14 homers during the regular season, and righties hit 10 of those long balls (71%) in just 51% of the at-bats.

Springer returning to the lineup and going yard in a clinching victory would be the perfect capstone on his year, and he could help the Blue Jays hoist the World Series trophy before the end of the night.
