UPDATE: Kyle Kuzma gets the start for Antetokounmpo.
Antetokounmpo has been wearing his Halloween costume early this year, donning the gear of Atlas and putting the Bucks on his back. Through four games, he’s averaging 36.3 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, 0.8 steals and 1.3 blocks while attempting a league-leading 18.8 two-point shots and making a league-leading 14.3 field goals. The heavy load must’ve been a little too much because he was put on the injury report ahead of Thursday’s game, although he was listed as probable. An hour before tipoff on Thursday, the Bucks ruled Antetokounmpo out.
Bobby Portis will likely enter the starting lineup for Milwaukee, although Kyle Kuzma is also an option.
The sample sizes are small at 40 minutes or below, but with Antetokounmpo off the court this season, Myles Turner and Gary Trent Jr. have seen the biggest usage bumps of 10%. Ryan Rollins is at 6.65% while Portis is at 4.3%.
