With 10:42 left in Monday’s game against the Timberwolves, Nuggets forward Cameron Johnson exited the game due to right shoulder soreness. He is questionable to return. There’s been no mention of when the injury occurred. Tim Hardaway Jr. was the substitute.
Prior to exiting, Johnson contributed five points, two rebounds and two assists in 19 minutes. He shot 2-of-5 from the field and 1-of-3 from beyond the arc.
If Johnson misses time, Tim Hardaway Jr., Bruce Brown and Peyton Watson would all likely see an uptick in playing time.
Denver next plays Wednesday at home against New Orleans.
