Bring Out the Crowns
The lack of offense in the Clippers-Warriors game sealed the deal. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Tyrese Maxey will share the crown on Tuesday night as we coronate two Kings of the Court. Here’s a look at the final standings.

Last Gasp in the Bay
James Harden has ground to a halt. A scoreless third quarter has all but taken him out of the running for the King of the Court. He’s been surpassed by Ivica Zubac (14 points, 12 rebounds, one assist) and Steph Curry (16 points, two rebounds, eight assists). It would take a Herculean effort for any of the three to get over the hump in the fourth quarter, especially with the Warriors pulling away in this game.
Do we have a miracle on tap? Or will the Maxey and Antetokounmpo bettors share the crown?
Beard Night in Golden State?
James Harden has it going in this game when nobody else does. The Beard is up to 20 points at halftime, along with three rebounds. Nobody else in this game has more than 10 points.
On this current pace, he can challenge Antetokounmpo and Maxey for the P/R/A crown. And there’s a lot of basketball left to play. Gear up for one heck of a finish.
Good Startin’ James Harden
It’s all down to the last game to decide the King of the Court. And both the Clippers and Warriors are putting out some strong candidates. James Harden leads the way so far, scoring 13 points and grabbing two rebounds. He’s cooking, and by cooking I mean drawing egregiously marginal fouls, but the points count the same for our purposes.
The Warriors also got 10 P/R/A from Steph Curry (7 pts, 3 ast) and Jonathan Kuminga (7 pts, 2 reb, 1 ast). It’s a promising start in this game. Let’s see how things look going into halftime.

Don’t panic, King of the Court bettors. DraftKings will adjust the leaderboard to reflect all official stats from NBA.com. Antetokounmpo and Maxey are currently tied for the lead with 52 PRA.

Talk about a comeback King of the Court performance. Giannis Antetokounmpo put the team on his back down the stretch against the Knicks during primetime, finishing with 37 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. It’s nothing new for the two-time MVP and NBA champion. With this total, he moves into a tie with Tyrese Maxey for the top spot.
A tie would split the bonus bets evenly between the Antetokounmpo and Maxey bettors. Stay tuned for an update on what the bonus payout will look like. But don’t count your bets just yet; we still have one more game between the Clippers and the Warriors.
SGA Comes Up Short
It was a valiant effort from the reigning MVP, but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander couldn’t catch Tyrese Maxey. The projected P/R/A runner-up on the night put up 31 points, nine rebounds, and four assists in a win over the Kings. Now the list of players who can catch Maxey grows shorter.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is the next-best bet. Already at 41 total P/R/A as the game against the Knicks heads into crunch time, he’s got a shot. Will the Greek Freak usurp Maxey for the crown down the stretch?
Maxey and Sixers Clutch Up
It was a real back-and-forth during overtime. Alex Sarr held on to his lead as long as he could, but Tyrese Maxey was undeniable. With the Wizards playing the foul game down the stretch, Maxey hit six free throws in the final 30 seconds to get up to 52 P/R/A. That took him past Sarr (48) and gives him a considerable lead in tonight’s contest.
Let’s look down the board now. LaMelo Ball is going to fall short after a hot start. Jalen Brunson, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Giannis Antetokounmpo are all heading into the fourth quarters of their respective games and are roughly 20 P/R/A short apiece. Can one of those superstars catch Maxey? Or will it be left to the Clippers/Warriors game to decide things? Let’s find out together.
OT in DC!!!
This game deserved more time. A furious Sixers sally is sending us to overtime in Washington, and that means more chances for Alex Sarr and Tyrese Maxey to put up numbers. It was Maxey who took over in clutch time yet again, and is up to 43 total P/R/A as we go to overtime.
He only slightly trails Sarr and his 45 P/R/A. Who will come out on top in DC?
Joel vs. Sarr… Cinema
It’s an offensive show in the nation’s capital. The Washington Wizards have crossed the century mark only halfway into the third quarter. A possible career night for Alex Sarr is in the works, and he’s putting the screws to Philly with 26 points, nine rebounds, and five assists for a total of 40 P/R/A. But Joel Embiid is continuing to pitch in all over the floor, with 25/4/3.
How high can Sarr go? Will Embiid play much more in this game? And can LaMelo Ball pick it back up in Charlotte? We’ve got a lot of questions to answer.
LaMelo Swerving Early
It’s halftime in DC, and Alex Sarr is piling it up with 29 total P/R/A. Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid trail with 23 and 22, respectively. But keep an eye on LaMelo Ball. Charlotte’s All-Star put up 15 points in the first quarter along with three rebounds and an assist.
He’s moving different this season. Will he keep racking up the numbers against this solid Heat defense?
Joel Embiid, Is That You?
Alex Sarr remains a slim leader on the board, but Joel Embiid is on the rise. After a rough few games working through his usual crop of injuries, the former MVP looks like himself tonight. With 18 points in the first half, he’s throwing his hat into the ring.
It’s important to remember that Embiid remains on a minutes restriction and will likely only play another 10 minutes. But against this Wizards defense, that should be a very productive stint. Keep an eye on Joel, and don’t sleep on Tyrese Maxey. He’s putting up a strong 14/3/4 line in the early going.
Hot Sarr-ce In DC
Nobody is surprised that Tyrese Maxey is cooking early. But, in our first game on the slate, it’s Wizards center Alexandre Sarr who is cooking. The defense-first center is knocking down all of his shots, and has put up 13 points along with six rebounds and an assist so far.
Maxey and Joel Embiid are sure to put up some numbers, but Sarr is surprising early. Let’s see if he can keep his lead up as our second game is about to tip off.
