The NHL Frozen Frenzy makes its return on Tuesday night. All 32 NHL teams will be playing tonight, with starting times staggered from 6:00 p.m. ET to 11:00 p.m. ET. The Bruins, Senators, Blues and Penguins all played last night, and will be the only teams operating on zero days’ rest for tonight’s slate.

Zach Benson to Record 1+ Assist (+135)
It’s hard to ignore Benson’s assist line with the way he has been playing to start the new season. At just 20 years old, he is quietly one of the best playmakers in the league already. Benson has seven assists in six games, with six of those coming while playing at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo. He has recorded an assist in four of six career games against Columbus, and the club’s underlying metrics are worrisome. The Blue Jackets rank first in xGoals against per 60 and eighth in high-danger chances against. Benson ranks fifth in the NHL in assists per 60, and this line is plus odds? Sign me up.
Morgan Geekie to Score a Goal (+190)
Geekie leads the Bruins in goals after netting five goals in the past four games, and draws a good matchup against Ilya Sorokin, who has struggled to open the new season. Sorokin sports a 2-3-1 record with a 3.70 GAA and .875 SV%, which are very uncharacteristic numbers for the 30-year-old. Of 68 eligible goaltenders, he ranks 53rd in goals saved above expected. As a team, the Islanders rank first in high-danger chances against and third in xGoals against per 60. Geekie has scored twice in the past four games at UBS Arena and enters tonight’s tilt ranked second in the NHL in goals above expected.
Jackson Blake to Record 3+ Shots on Goal (+135)
Carolina is very banged up, particularly on the defensive end, and I’m expecting the offensive pieces to step up. Enter Blake, who ranks fourth in ice time per game among Hurricanes’ forwards and seventh in the NHL in shots on goal per 60. Blake plays alongside Taylor Hall and Logan Stankoven on the second line, which happens to be the 12th-best line in the NHL in terms of xGoals% and seventh-best in terms of Corsi%. The 22-year-old has cleared this line in six of eight games this season, including once already against the Golden Knights. He also cleared in both meetings in 2024, while averaging over three fewer minutes of ice time.
