What happened to Terry McLaurin? Live injury updates for Commanders vs. Chiefs on 10/27/25

UPDATE: McLaurin did not return during Monday Night Football.

Wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quad) is questionable to return after suffering a quad injury during the Washington Commanders’ Week 8 Monday Night Football game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

McLaurin exited during the fourth quarter with the Commanders trailing by multiple scores. The exact manner in which the injury occurred is unclear, but it’s worth noting he did miss multiple games due to a quad issue over the last few weeks.

Prior to exiting, McLaurin recorded 54 yards and a touchdown while catching three of his four targets from Marcus Mariota.

If McLaurin misses further time, Deebo Samuel will serve as the Commanders’ WR1 once more while Luke McCaffrey and Zach Ertz play complimentary roles.
