Week 9 QB Rankings: 2025 Fantasy Football Rankings

With bye weeks and quarterback injuries over the last few weeks, there has been some pretty wild movement over the last few weeks at the QB position. With four more teams on a bye week this week, fantasy football managers will face tough roster decisions again this week. Let’s start the week with a rundown of the top 15 in my fantasy football QB rankings for this week.

After their bye week, the Cardinals, Lions, Jaguars, Raiders, Rams, and Seahawks are all returning to action in Week 9, while the Browns, Jets, Eagles and Buccaneers are getting the week off. With 28 teams left on the schedule, some favorable matchups to attack and a few to avoid emerge. Be sure to check out my QB rankings before locking in your lineup.

Before we get to Week 9’s rankings, let’s take one more look back at Week 8. The top quarterback performance of the week (not counting Monday’s game) came on Sunday night from Jordan Love (31.3 FPTS). Drake Maye (27.3 FPTS), Justin Herbert (26.3 FPTS), C.J. Stroud (25.7 FPTS) and Jalen Hurts (25.4 FPTS) also posted over 25 fantasy points. Tua Tagovailoa (24.2 FPTS) and Justin Fields (20.0 FPTS) each had bounce-back weeks to turn their narratives around. On the other side of the spectrum, Spencer Rattler (4.6 FPTS) and Andy Dalton (4.1 FPTS) had very disappointing showings.

  10. Bo Nix (at HOU)
  11. Matthew Stafford (vs. NO)
  12. Jaxson Dart (vs. SF)
  13. Kyler Murray (at DAL) –if healthy
  14. Jared Goff (vs. MIN)
  15. C.J. Stroud (vs. DEN)
