The final game of Week 8 will take place in Kansas City as the Commanders travel to take on the Chiefs. Rashee Rice returned from his suspension last week and was welcomed back with two touchdowns and a 31-0 win. Only time will tell if Week 8 is just as successful as Week 7 was for Rice and company.
The Chiefs are 10.5-point favorites for this one, with the Commanders +500 underdogs on the moneyline. The points total is set at O/U 48.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Rashee Rice hasn’t been on the field much in the last two seasons between a knee injury and a suspension. He made his return to action against the Raiders last week and looked like his old self. He was targeted 10 times, catching seven of those for 42 yards and two scores.
Mahomes and Rice will likely need some more time playing together to become even more efficient. Last Sunday marked his first game since September of 2024. When Rice does play, he gets a ton of volume. Over the four full games he has played in the last two years, he’s been targeted 39 times, averaging 9.75 targets per game.
He also gets in the end zone more often than not, scoring four times over that sample size.
Washington is ranked 26th in the NFL against the pass, so there are multiple ways you can back Rice to have a good game. I’m not sure he and Mahomes are fully on the same page yet, which is why I will take him to score. They certainly looked comfortable in the red zone; however, as he was targeted four times and both of his touchdown catches last week were from inside the five-yard line. Rice brings a new dimension to this Chiefs offense, and he should get plenty more red zone opportunities on Monday.
