Game 1 of the 2025 World Series was a nail-biter … for five innings. With the score tied 2-2 entering the bottom of the sixth inning, Toronto put the crookedest of crooked numbers with a nine spot, which included a pinch-hit grand slam. Now we head to Game 2 on Saturday.

The Dodgers open as -124 favorites for Game 2 on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the Blue Jays at +102 on the moneyline. The run total is set at O/U 7.5. The game is slated to start at 8 p.m. ET.

Kevin Gausman gets the nod for Toronto while the Dodgers will send out Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

During the regular season, Gausman produced a 3.41 FIP with a 17.9% K-BB% in 193 innings. The HR/9 was 0.98. It’s been much different in the playoffs. Through 18 innings, the FIP is 4.75 while the K-BB% is 4.2%. He’s been extremely lucky with a .167 BABIP.

Yamamoto pitched 173.2 innings during the regular season and produced a 2.94 FIP with a 20.8% K-BB%. The HR/9 was only 0.73. In 19.2 playoff innings, the FIP is 3.39 while the K-BB% is 17.7%. The HR/9 is 0.92.

In terms of World Series odds, the Blue Jays and Dodgers are both -110 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
