Best Victor Wembanyama Props for Spurs vs. Pelicans on Friday 10/24/25

San Antonio Spurs at New Orleans Pelicans

Victor Wembanyama was absolutely spectacular in his season debut against the Mavericks, going for 40 points and 15 rebounds. Wemby also posted three blocks and shot over 71% from the field, and did all this damage in just 30 minutes of what turned into a blowout.

It’s clearly a buy-high spot on Wembanyama, who saw his MVP odds shift from +1200 to +300 off just one game! That’s completely unheard of. His props also tick upwards off the performance, but we also have to consider the idea that we might look back on Wemby’s props from early in the season and say they were a discount.

I’m buying into Wemby making the leap this season into a constant in the MVP conversation for years to come. If you watched just how dominant Wembanyama was in the opener, against the likes of Anthony Davis, you saw a virtually unstoppable player. The Spurs have been bet up as road favorites in this game, and I agree with the move. I backed San Antonio early on, and still think its a good play on the side.

But for a prop, I want to target Wemby’s dominance once again, this time against a soft New Orleans front court. The Pelicans have no chance at matching up with Wemby, so I’ll target him to go over his Points + Rebounds prop. I think we could continue to see this prop tick up in the early weeks of the season.

NBA Pick: Victor Wembanyama OVER 40.5 Points + Rebounds (-112)
