For the sixth straight year, NXT is hosting its Halloween Havoc premium live event. NXT Halloween Havoc takes place on Saturday, October 25, at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona. This event began as an NWA event in 1989 and later shifted to WCW, where it was held 10 times from 1991 to 2000.
Ricky Saints defeated Oba Femi at No Mercy in September to win the NXT Championship. Saints will make his first title defense against former TNA and NXT Champion Trick Williams. Williams recently lost the TNA title to Mike Santana at Bound for Glory. There are five more matches on the card, with four additional titles being defended.

Ricky Saints upset Oba Femi to win the NXT title at No Mercy and now has another tall task with former NXT and TNA Champion, Trick Williams. This is the first matchup between Saints and Williams. Ricky Saints has held the NXT title for under a month, and his reign is only just beginning. Beating Femi and then Williams will validate Saints’ title reign.
Prediction: Ricky Saints defeats Trick Williams to retain the NXT Championship.
NXT Women’s Championship Match: Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Tatum Paxley
Jacy Jayne has been NXT Women’s Champion for 140-plus days and has successfully defended it four times. Jayne and Tatum Paxley have faced off 10 times, but this will be their first one-on-one match. Paxley won the No. 1 contendership battle royal earlier this month to earn this title shot. But Paxley has lost her last five singles matches on NXT television and hasn’t won a one-on-one match since October 2024. Jayne’s edge in experience in this match should be the difference.
Prediction: Jacy Jayne defeats Tatum Paxley to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.
NXT North American Championship Match: Ethan Page (c) vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
Over the last two months, Ethan Page has been in a rivalry with the AAA Latin American Champion, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. At Worlds Collide in Las Vegas in September, Wagner Jr. beat Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, and Page in a fatal four-way. Page has been looking for revenge since he lost to El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., and it would be surprising if he didn’t pick up the victory at Halloween Havoc.
Prediction: Ethan Page defeats El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. to retain the NXT North American Championship.
NXT Tag Team Championship Match: The Hardy Boyz (c) vs. DarkState
A few weeks ago, Matt and Jeff, the Hardy Boyz, beat DarkState to win the NXT Tag Team Championship for the first time in their careers. Since then, the Hardy Boyz successfully defended the TNA and NXT tag team titles against the Dudley Boyz at Bound for Glory. This week on NXT, Broken Matt Hardy and Brother Nero made their long-awaited return. With the Broken Hardys back, they seem more dangerous than ever heading into a rematch with DarkState.
Prediction: The Hardy Boyz defeat DarkState to retain the NXT Tag Team Championship.
Tag Team Match: Je’Von Evans & Leon Slater vs. Mr. Iguana & La Parka
Although Je’Von Evans and Leon Slater faced each other at Bound for Glory, they have remained friends. At this week’s NXT show, Mr. Iguana and La Parka from AAA confronted them and challenged them to a match at Halloween Havoc. Evans and Slater are 1-0 as a tag team, and their combination of speed and athletic ability should be too much for Mr. Iguana and La Parka to overcome.

Women’s North American Championship Match: Zaria (c) vs. Blake Monroe
Sol Ruca is the Women’s North American Champion, but she is unable to compete in this match. Ruca’s friend, Zaria, is stepping up to defend her title against Blake Monroe at Halloween Havoc. Ruca has held the title since April and is the longest reigning Women’s North American Champion. Monroe joined WWE in the summer and has quickly risen in the NXT women’s division. Although she has a tough opponent in Zaria, this is the moment for Monroe to win her first title in WWE.
