There are so many different ways to make your picks for Week 8 of the NFL season on DraftKings and DraftKings Sportsbook. The DraftKings Pick ‘Em Pools are one of the best ways to get in on the action.

DraftKings has huge NFL Pick ‘Em Pools for Week 8. You can enter the $5 NFL Week 8 Spreads Pool with $5,000+ in prizes here. You can also enter the $100 NFL Week 8 Spreads Pool with $4,000+ in prizes here.

NFL Pick ‘Em Pools

These pools are really easy to use and allow you to have action for the entire NFL season with just one entry fee. For the season-long pools, each week you will go back to the pool and pick five games on the slate against the spread. Each correct selection is worth one point. You will also be given one “skip week” during the season, where you don’t need to make picks if you don’t have a good feel for that slate. That way, even if you have one bad week, you are still in contention in the contest. You can also play the weekly pools, where you pick every featured game against the spread.

Every week of the regular season, I will be giving out my five favorite selections, along with my leans for every other game on the slate.

Week 8 Picks

Bills -7.5 @ Panthers — The Bills are in need of a big win. Buffalo lost back-to-back games before a much-needed bye came last week. That was a good chance for Buffalo to review tape and see what went wrong against the Patriots and Falcons. This is still one of the best teams in the NFL, with the reigning MVP at quarterback. This line is low because of those two losses and the fact that the Panthers have won three straight games. However, that was about as unimpressive as a three-game winning streak in the NFL can be. The Panthers scored a touchdown in the final two minutes to beat an awful Dolphins team at home. Then, they won another home game on a field goal as time expired against the Cowboys, who rank 30th in defensive EPA/play. Finally, they beat the winless Jets by a touchdown last week.

The Bills are another stratosphere compared to those teams and should come ready to play out of their bye week. Josh Allen is 8-0 SU and 5-2-1 ATS after a full bye week in his career. There is a chance Andy Dalton will start this game as Bryce Young deals with an injury. Dalton is 1-5 SU and 1-5 ATS as a starter for the Panthers over the last couple of seasons. The Bills should dominate this game on both sides of the ball and get an easy win and cover.

49ers -1.5 @ Texans — Kyle Shanahan is putting on the coaching performance of his life. The 49ers have been riddled with injuries this season, including to Brock Purdy. Despite that, the 49ers just keep winning football games. Christian McCaffrey is playing like the guy who led the league in rushing in 2023, doing it all for the 49ers. George Kittle and Jauan Jennings returned last week, and Ricky Pearsall is close, all good news for Mac Jones as he is likely to make another start. Meanwhile, the Texans’ offense can’t get anything going as it also deals with injuries. Houston ranks 23rd in offensive EPA/play and 26th in offensive success rate. The defense was carrying the load for a while, but last week’s game against Seattle showed that the defense is straining with no help from the offense. The 49ers should keep the positive momentum rolling and get another win in Houston.

Saints +5.5 vs. Buccaneers — The Buccaneers are another team dealing with too many injuries. The team was already short at wide receiver, and after finally getting Mike Evans back last week, the star receiver is out again for an extended period of time. With Bucky Irving and Chris Godwin not expected to return for this game, Baker Mayfield will be incredibly shorthanded. He has put this team on his back at times this season, but last week’s performance against Detroit was ugly. The Saints rank ninth in the NFL in defensive EPA/rush. They should make Tampa Bay one-dimensional, like Detroit did last week. That makes it easy for New Orleans to cover the backup receivers that Tampa Bay is trotting out. This is a divisional matchup with a lot of familiarity. If the Saints can sustain a couple of touchdown drives, that should be good enough to cover against a depleted Tampa Bay offense.

Cowboys +3.5 @ Broncos — The Cowboys are capable of beating anybody on any given week. They rank second in the NFL in offensive EPA/play and are moving it well on the ground and through the air. Dak Prescott is having an MVP-caliber season, and nobody has shown the ability to stop this team. If you want to beat the Cowboys, you need to outscore them in a shootout. Some teams are built for that type of battle, but the Broncos are not. Denver got a miracle win last week, but the Broncos were scoreless through three quarters against the Giants. The two weeks prior to that, the team only combined for 24 points against the Jets and Eagles. Bo Nix has really struggled this season, and the run game isn’t working for Denver either. Prescott will get his points on the board, even against a good Broncos defense. Nix will struggle to keep up with Prescott, and this should come down to the wire. Nix is 0-4 SU and ATS in games with a total of 45 or higher, reinforcing his inability to win in a shootout.

Patriots -6.5 vs. Browns — The Patriots have been playing at an extremely high level over the past few weeks. New England has had some easy competition, but the win over the Bills shows that it is not a fluke. Also, it is blowing out teams like the Panthers and Titans, leaving no doubt. The Browns are coming off a big win over the Dolphins, but it is clear that Dillon Gabriel is not the guy at quarterback. With a bye week ahead, this game could be the last straw for Gabriel, giving Shedeur Sanders two weeks to prepare for his first career start against the Jets. Everything lines up for Drake Maye and the Patriots to roll in this game. Maye is playing at an MVP level, and this Browns defense is not the same on the road as it is at home. The Browns are allowing just 13.5 points per game at home this season, but they are giving up 32.7 points per game on the road. The Patriots should have too much firepower for Dillon Gabriel to keep up with.

Week 8 Leans

Chargers -3 vs. Vikings

Jets +6.5 @ Bengals

Giants +7.5 @ Eagles

Ravens -6.5 vs. Bears

Falcons -7.5 vs. Dolphins

Colts -14.5 vs. Titans

Steelers +3.5 vs. Packers

Chiefs -10.5 vs. Commanders
