Ja Morant Injury Update: Friday 10/24/25 vs. Heat

Ja Morant is listed as questionable for Friday’s game against the Miami Heat as he deals with a sore left ankle.

This is a new injury as Morant was not on the injury report for Wednesday’s contest against the Pelicans.

Memphis won its season debut 128-122 against the Pelicans. It was a messy first quarter, trailing 24-9 at one point, but the Grizzlies stormed back by the end of the quarter.

Morant finished the game with 35 points on 13-of-20 shots. It was overshadowed by other performances around the league, but it was an impressive outing nonetheless.

The Grizzlies are 3.5-point favorites for Friday’s game against the Heat, but that could shift if Morant is sidelined. Not only is he the offensive engine, but the team is also missing a few key players in Zach Edey and Ty Jerome.
