Best NBA Player Prop Bets for 76ers vs. Celtics on Wednesday 10/22/25

The Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics open up their seasons on Wednesday at TD Garden. Both teams are battling some injuries to begin the year, which opens up some interesting player prop betting angles.

Derrick White OVER 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-105)

White was tremendous in three preseason games, even in limited minutes. With Jayson Tatum sidelined, Boston will lean on White to play a significantly larger role. In three preseason games, White averaged 21.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 7.0 assists in just 28 minutes. I expect him to play much closer to 35-36 minutes in the regular season, leaving a ton of value on White’s props early on.

Joel Embiid OVER 8.5 Rebounds (-105)

Embiid has ripped down nine or more rebounds in 10 of his last 12 matchups against the Celtics in the regular season. Boston loses Kristaps Porzingis and Al Horford, as well as a strong rebounder in Tatum, leaving Embiid with a very favorable matchup against a thin front court. Look for Embiid to dominate the glass.
