After a thrilling doubleheader on Opening Night, the NBA action continues on Wednesday! The final game on tonight’s slate sees the Phoenix Suns navigate their new reality without Kevin Durant against the Sacramento Kings. It sets the stage for Devin Booker to work as the primary option in the desert as he looks to prove he’s capable of being a team’s primary option.

Here are the top Devin Booker prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Suns vs. Kings on Wednesday night.

After Durant left the Suns, Devin Booker signed a massive two-year, $145 million max extension to remain under contract with Phoenix through the 2029-30 season. It was a massive show of faith for the superstar with the franchise’s outlook drastically changed, though of course, no other team could have offered him that much cash. Still, he’s paid like one of the NBA’s most elite players. Now, it’s time for Booker to show once more he can produce as the go-to guy without Durant.

Last season, Booker produced 25.6 points per game, his lowest scoring average since the 2020-21 season. His shooting splits of 46.1% from the field and 33.2% from three were also his worst marks since 2017-18 and 2018-19, but it’s not all bad for the guard. Booker worked more as a playmaker and averaged a career-high 7.1 assists, an encouraging sign he can work as a lead playmaker. The Suns will certainly need that this year with a very weak guard rotation around him.

The star guard’s prop bet lines on DraftKings Sportsbook sit at 28.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 2.5 three-pointers. His combined PTS + REB + AST line comes in at 40.5.

With fellow guard Jalen Green out of commission for the first couple weeks of the season and Phoenix lacking any other real stars in the lineup, Booker should see an absurd amount of volume tonight. While the Kings know the star will be at the center of the offense, they don’t exactly have a standout defense and probably won’t be able to limit his overall shot attempts. A mark around 30 field goals could conceivably be in the cards for Booker in this spot, so watch for him to chuck the ball at will here. His points prop could work, but I’d rather take the over on 2.5 three-pointers at -130 odds or push the line to 4+ at +188 odds instead. Sure, the efficiency wasn’t there last year, but we’re banking on volume for this play tonight. It should be bombs away in Phoenix here.

Best bet: Devin Booker over 2.5 made three-pointers (-130)
