The Minnesota Timberwolves enter the 2025-26 campaign much like they did a year ago — eager to bounce back from a five-game exit in the Western Conference Finals.
Minnesota was on the receiving end of a gentleman’s sweep by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2024 playoffs, then fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder the following year as OKC went on to win the NBA championship. Led by star guard Anthony Edwards, the Wolves are hungry to finally break through and reach the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.
That mission starts on Wednesday night in their season opener against the Portland Trail Blazers.
