The 2025/26 UCL league phase continues on Wednesday as Chelsea and Ajax will face each other in London.

This bet can be found under the “Match Parlays” tab. It’s been a disastrous start to the season for Ajax, and I think things will only get worse for them on Wednesday. The Dutch side finds themselves dead last in the Champions League standings, losing both games while failing to score and conceding six.
First, it was a 2-0 home loss to Inter Milan, not the end of the world. Then, it was a 4-0 road loss to Marseille. Yikes. Things haven’t been great in the Eredivisie, either. They sit in fourth place after nine games, already nine points behind leaders Feyenoord. Five teams in the league have scored more goals than them.
For Chelsea, things are starting to look good. They have won three games in a row in all competitions, beating Benfica, Liverpool and Nottingham Forest. The Blues have only kept four clean sheets in 11 games so far this season, but they don’t face opponents like this in the Premier League every week.
No disrespect to Ajax, but they have fallen to maybe their lowest point in recent seasons. I think it gets worse before it gets better for the Dutch side.
Chelsea lost their opening UCL match to Bayern Munich, but followed that up with a home win against Benfica. They should make it two wins from three on Wednesday, and hopefully they do so while also keeping a clean sheet.
