Butler (ankle) is listed as probable for Tuesday’s season opener vs. the Lakers and this line is just too low for the veteran. Stephen Curry is heathy again after hurting his hamstring during the playoffs, and in the 35 starts Butler and Curry have made together, Butler has been great with averages of 18.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game.

This equates to 29.9 PRA per game. Since joining the Warriors, Butler is handling a 22.1% usage rate and 27.2% assist percentage while logging 33.5 minutes per game. Butler is facing a Lakers team that finished 17th in defensive rating last season and will be without LeBron James (sciatica).

This game is expected to be a competitive affair with Golden State only favored by 2.5 points. Butler should stuff the stat sheet with over 27.5 PRA.
