This bet can be found under the “Match Parlays” tab. I am not expecting too many goals in this game, arguably the best matchup on Tuesday’s Champions League slate.
Arsenal have maybe the best defense in Europe right now, while Diego Simeone’s teams are always set up well defensively. Chances in this one will likely be few and far between, but I fancy the Gunners to find a way to score while keeping yet another clean sheet.
In 11 games in all competitions this season, Arsenal have only conceded three goals. The Gunners have won eight times without allowing a goal. They haven’t allowed a shot on goal in their last two matches. Through two games of this season’s UCL League Phase, Arsenal have won both games, scoring four times while conceding none.
Is there a need to say anything else?
Atlético Madrid can score goals, as evidenced by their 16 in nine La Liga games this season. But overall, it hasn’t been a great start to the new campaign. They find themselves in fourth place in the league, eight points behind leaders Real Madrid. In the Champions League, it’s been a decent start, losing to Liverpool 3-2 at Anfield in the first game before beating Eintracht Frankfurt 5-1 at home. They have shown their ability to score goals this season, but on the road against arguably the best defense on the planet right now will prove to be difficult.
Arsenal have found the net in 10 of their 11 games this season, and will likely do so again on Tuesday.
Atlético are no pushovers, especially in Europe, but this Arsenal side should have too much for them on both ends of the pitch.
