Week 8 TE Rankings: 2025 Fantasy Football Rankings

Welcome to Week 8; it’s about to get wild in here! With six teams on a bye week, tight end will be stretched thin, but it’s also a great place to get some leverage with aggressive moves. Looking ahead to the 26 teams in play for this week, let’s run down the top 15 TE Rankings for week 8 to help you with all your lineup decisions at the position this week.

Rookie tight ends continue to step up and contribute big games regularly. Oronde Gadsden II (32.4 FPTS) led all players at the position this week, with Tyler Warren (16.9 FPTS) continuing his excellent season on the other side of that same matchup. Pat Freiermuth (31.1 FPTS) had two touchdowns to post the second-highest total of the week, and Trey McBride (29.4 FPTS) and Jake Ferguson (21.9 FPTS) were the only other tight ends with over 20 fantasy points.

With the Cardinals, Lions, Jaguars, Raiders, Rams and Seahawks getting the week off, who can you count on to step up in Week 8? Every week starters like McBride and Sam LaPorta will be out, and even the pool of sleepers will be thinned out.

  4. Harold Fannin Jr. (at NE) – if David Njoku is out
  5. Oronde Gadsden II (vs. MIN)
  6. Travis Kelce (vs. WAS)
  7. Darren Waller (at ATL) –if healthy
  8. Hunter Henry (vs. CLE)
  9. George Kittle (at HOU)
  10. Zach Ertz (at KC)
  11. Kyle Pitts Sr. (vs. MIA)
  12. Dalton Kincaid (at CAR) –if healthy
  13. Dallas Goedert (vs. NYG)
  14. Juwan Johnson (vs. TB)
  15. Cade Otton (at NO) – higher or lower depending on WR available
