WINNER UPDATE: The Lions’ Jahmyr Gibbs earned King of the End Zone honors in Week 7 with a 78-yard touchdown run against the Buccaneers.
We’ve got a double-header in the Week 7 edition of Monday Night Football. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to take on the Detroit Lions in the early window, followed by the Texans traveling to face the Seahawks. In addition to the typical array of betting options such as player props, game totals and plenty more, DraftKings Sportsbook is now offering a King of the End Zone promotion.
During the Monday Night Football matchups tonight, $2 million in Bonus Bets will be up for grabs. Users can opt in and receive a King of the End Zone token to use on any single touchdown prop under “TD Scorer” (minimum $5 wager). Passing touchdowns do not count as King of the End Zone winners. Charbonnet Scores Again
Zach Charbonnet’s nice night continued with his second touchdown of the contest, this one from just a couple of yards out (as per usual). Notably, all of his scores this season have come from five yards or fewer. His fantasy managers are surely pleased, but this one won’t do much for the purposes of this promo.
Texans D/ST Gets on the Board
It won’t take longest touchdown honors, but the Texans’ defense forced a fumble in the end zone and recovered for an easy score. It’s still fun to see a defense enter the fray, though.
JSN Making Moves, Scores From 11 Yards Out
The Jaxon Smith-Njigba breakout campaign continues. Right at the end of the first quarter, Seattle’s star receiver dialed up the connection with Sam Darnold once again.
Another score, but nowhere closer to unseating Jahmyr Gibbs. But as this game opens up, maybe we get some longer scores.
Regularly Scheduled Zach Charbonnet Goal-Line TD
The Detroit-Tampa Bay game is over, and we’re on to Houston against Seattle. It’s the Seahawks getting off on the right foot in this defensive battle with Zach Charbonnet scoring a one-yard touchdown to open the scoring.
He came up about 77 yards short of being King of the End Zone, by my math. But there’s plenty of time left in the game. Don’t change the channel just yet.
Gibbs x2 From Five Yards Out
Well, it didn’t take long for the Detroit Lions to respond. After the Buccaneers took their opening drive of the second half down the field for a touchdown, Jahmyr Gibbs stretched the lead back out to two scores with his second touchdown of the day.
Not going to touch his longest score of the day, but it’s another feather in the cap for Detroit’s superstar back.
Tez Johnson, 22-Yard Score!
This game has been a snoozer since Gibbs scored his monster TD, but we finally have some real action. For the second straight week, Buccaneers backup WR Tez Johnson scored a big touchdown for Tampa Bay.
It didn’t come close to challenging Jahmyr Gibbs for the crown, but it’s another great moment for the rookie.

Do not, I repeat do not, let Jahmyr Gibbs get into the secondary. With the Detroit Lions backed up against their end zone, they let the running game go to work. And their explosive RB1 broke one off.
That’s going to be a difficult one to top. But let’s see if there are more explosive plays in store as this game opens up.
SUN GOD FINDS PAY DIRT! 27 Yards for Amon-Ra St. Brown
Well, that didn’t take long. The Detroit Lions stormed down the field to take the lead against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, capped off by a 27-yard score by Amon-Ra St. Brown on a busted coverage.
It’s a great start to our slate, but these are two explosive offenses. I’d be surprised if this was our leader at the end of the night. Stay tuned.
