Notably, White has been making the most of his goal-line opportunities as well, scoring three times over that two-game span. The 26-year-old should pick up where he left off as a significant piece of the Bucs’ game plan on Monday night.
Sam LaPorta (+145)
After a concerning sophomore slump, it’s safe to say Sam LaPorta is back. Through six weeks, the star tight end is on pace for 74 catches for a career-high 918 yards, re-establishing his role as key cog in Detroit’s offensive machine.
After failing to get into the end zone in the Lions’ first four games, LaPorta finally broke that streak, scoring against both the Bengals and Chiefs. The 24-year-old will look to make it three in a row this week against a porous Bucs secondary. Baker Mayfield’s late-game heroics have hidden the fact that Tampa Bay’s defense isn’t holding up their end of the bargain, allowing the 12th-most passing yards per game.
Jared Goff and company should have no problem racking up the points on Monday, putting LaPorta in prime position to keep his hot streak rolling.
