MLB Best Bets: Top Same Game Parlay for Mariners vs. Blue Jays ALCS Game 7

Game 7. No matter the teams. No matter the sport. There’s just something inescapably awesome about a Game 7.

Tonight’s edition features the Seattle Mariners and the Toronto Blue Jays, each with a chance to make it to the World Series. Let’s add some context, shall we? Both of these franchises came into existence in 1977. The Blue Jays have won two World Series, yet have not made it back to the Fall Classic since 1993. Meanwhile, the Mariners have never even gotten this far in their pursuit for a championship. To put it mildly, this is a game that means a whole lot to two hungry fan bases.

As always, DraftKings Sportsbook has hundreds of different ways you can get in on this ALCS action. Let’s put together a same game parlay so we all can sweat along with the entirety of Seattle and Toronto.

Mariners vs. Blue Jays Same Game Parlay

  • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1+ Walks
  • Julio Rodriguez 2+ Total Bases
  • Alternate Total: Under 9

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1+ Walks

It’s a little funny to back a walks prop for Vladimir Guerrero Jr. in Game 7, especially considering he’s currently in the midst of one of the greatest postseason runs of all-time, but it’s exactly for that reason that I think the Mariners will be extra careful with the All-Star on Monday. In 47 plate appearances in the playoffs in 2025, Guerrero is slashing .462/.532/1.000 with a 302 wRC+. The $500 million man already walks quite a bit on his own accord — Vladdy’s 81 walks during the regular season were a top 20 mark and his 21.4% chase rate sits in the 90th percentile — yet Dan Wilson showed his hand in Game 5 when it comes to how Seattle might try and negate Toronto’s best bat. That night, Wilson chose to intentionally walk Guerrero twice and it’s something he probably would have done again in Game 6, if not for the fact that Guerrero once hit with the bases loaded and once led off an inning. Even if Wilson doesn’t raise four fingers during Game 7, I expect the Mariners to try and pitch around Guerrero whenever possible.

Julio Rodriguez 2+ Total Bases

I had this exact leg in my same game parlay for Game 3. Full disclosure: It was the only prop that actually hit. Julio Rodriguez hasn’t been especially productive in the postseason, batting well below the Mendoza line with a 36.0% strikeout rate over 50 plate appearances, but when he has chipped in, its tended to be with some real damage. To wit, half of Rodriguez’s eight hits in the playoffs have gone for extra-bases, including an absolute bomb off of Shane Bieber back in the first inning of the aforementioned Game 3. I don’t think that home run was an aberration, either. Bieber is a former Cy Young Award winner. He’s not some scrub. However, he’s still only made nine MLB starts since returning from Tommy John surgery and he was destroyed by opposing RHBs in the regular season to the tune of 2.95 long balls per nine and a .396 wOBA. Bieber also allowed a 12.3% opponent barrel rate — one of the worst marks in the league. He can be taken advantage of.

Alternate Total: Under 9

For as high scoring as this series has felt, three of the six games have gone below this alternate total, including both Game 5 and Game 6. The Mariners bats have mostly gone quiet since Game 2, save for some timely home runs; while the Blue Jays haven’t been able to do much off Seattle’s bullpen, with the unit combining for a respectable 3.64 ERA — and that includes some real garbage time innings in Game 3. My general thought process with this leg is: You’re not going to see a single “bad” pitcher in tonight’s contest. George Kirby’s career 6.68 K/BB ratio is the best mark among all active starters. Bieber owns a career 3.15 FIP. Andres Munoz, with two days off, might be asked to throw multiple innings this evening, just as Jeff Hoffman did to close out Game 6. Good pitching often bests good hitting. Expect a low-scoring and tense affair.

Same Game Parlay Odds: +525
