Updated:

By: Stan Son

NFL Week 7 is almost in the books, pending the Sunday and Monday night matchups, but the opening odds for Week 8 are up on DraftKings Sportsbook and it’s time to give them a look.

There is one game on Thursday. There are 11 games on Sunday, none in Europe, and one Monday night game.

It’s bye week armageddon as Arizona, Detroit, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Los Angeles Rams and Seattle are all off.

Here’s the full list of Week 8 odds on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Thursday Game, October 23

Vikings at Chargers – 8:15 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, October 20

SpreadTotalMoneyline
MIN Vikings+3 -115O 44.5 -112+130
LA Chargers-3 -105U 44.5 -108-155

Both of these teams lost in Week 7 at home, but no shame against the Philadelphia Eagles and Indianapolis Colts. Minnesota is the one that has to travel across the country on a short week, though.

Sunday Early Games – October 26

Dolphins at Falcons – 1 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, October 20

SpreadTotalMoneyline
MIA Dolphins+7 -110O 44.5 -112+275
ATL Falcons-7 -110U 44.5 -108-345

Miami has lost three straight and has only one win on the season, against the winless New York Jets. Atlanta lost 20-10 in San Francisco on Sunday night, unable to build upon the momentum from an impressive 24-14 victory over Buffalo in Week 6.

Jets at Bengals – 1 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, October 20

SpreadTotalMoneyline
NY Jets+6.5 -105O 44.5 -105+245
CIN Bengals-6.5 -115U 44.5 -115-305

New York is the last remaining team to notch a win. Joe Flacco went wacco in Week 7, going 31-of-47 for 342 yards and three touchdowns to help snap the four-game losing streak for Cincinnati. The Bengals played last Thursday, so they will have the advantage of a few more days rest. They also have the talent, coaching and homefield advantage. So lock in New York on the moneyline, right?

Browns at Patriots – 1 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, October 20

SpreadTotalMoneyline
CLE Browns+7 -112O 40.5 -110+285
NE Patriots-7 -108U 40.5 -110-360

Quinshon Judkins rumbled for three touchdowns as Cleveland squished the fish, 31-6. But if you win against Miami, does it really count? Checks standings. Yup, it counts. New England has won four straight, but three of those victories were over Carolina, New Orleans and Tennessee. But, but, but, the fourth win was over Buffalo so I’ll shut up now. Drake Maye is +1100 to win MVP, the fourth-lowest odds.

Giants at Eagles – 1 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, October 20

SpreadTotalMoneyline
NY Giants+7 -115O 43.5 -110+270
PHI Eagles-7 -105U 43.5 -110-340

New York was in control of their game in Denver, but the Broncos scored 33 points in the fourth quarter to come back for the improbable win. Now the Giants have to face the division rival and division-leading Eagles in Philadelphia, who eeked out the 28-22 win over Minnesota.

Bills at Panthers – 1 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, October 20

SpreadTotalMoneyline
BUF Bills-7.5 -108O 45.5 -115-395
CAR Panthers+7.5 -112U 45.5 -105+310

The bye came at a good time for Buffalo, as they lost to New England and Atlanta. Now they get a cupcake in Carolina, but this game is in Carolina while the following week is a showdown with Kansas City. Carolina has won three straight and four of the last five games, so maybe not a cupcake after all. Time exposes all things.

Bears at Ravens – 1 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, October 20

SpreadTotalMoneyline
CHI Bears+6.5 -110O 50.5 -110+245
BAL Ravens-6.5 -110U 50.5 -110-360

After losing the first two games of the season, Chicago has now rolled off four straight. Baltimore only has one win on the season and had their bye in Week 7. Most importantly, Lamar Jackson, who has missed two games, could be back for this one.

49ers at Texans – 1 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, October 20

SpreadTotalMoneyline
SF 49ers+1.5 -112O 42.5 -110+102
HOU Texans-1.5 -108U 42.5 -110-122

San Francisco has alternated wins and losses in the last four games. On Sunday night, they defeated the Atlanta Falcons, 20-10, bouncing back from the 30-19 loss in Tampa Bay the week before. Houston plays Monday night.

Sunday Late Games – October 26

Buccaneers at Saints – 4:05 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, October 20

SpreadTotalMoneyline
TB Buccaneers-6 -108O 48.5 -110-265
NO Saints+ -112U 48.5 -110+215

Tampa Bay plays Monday night. New Orleans has one win on the season and lost 26-14 in Week 7 to the Bears. The Saints have scored at least 20 points only one time this season.

Cowboys at Broncos – 4:25 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, October 20

SpreadTotalMoneyline
DAL Cowboys+3 +100O 49.5 -110+142
DEN Broncos-3 -120U 49.5 -110-170

Dallas has alternated wins and losses for much of the season, except for the wheel stopping on 00 in the Week 4 tie. Dak Prescott is only 10th in the MVP odds right now, but he’s been playing so well, completing 71.6% of his passes with 13 touchdowns, only three interceptions and a league-leading 80 first downs. Denver notched the improbable comeback, scoring 33 points in the fourth quarter after being shut out the rest of the game. Letdown spot?

Titans at Colts – 4:25 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, October 20

SpreadTotalMoneyline
TEN Titans+14 -110O 47.5 -105+675
IND Colts-14 -110U 47.5 -115-1050

Tennessee got pummeled by New England in Week 7, 31-13. The Titans only have one win on the season. Indianapolis went to Los Angeles and continued to impress with the 38-24 victory. The Colts are first in both EPA per dropback and carry on offense. Someone is going to slow down the Colts offense. I’m pretty sure it’s not going to be this week.

Sunday Night Game – October 26

Packers at Steelers – 8:20 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, October 20

SpreadTotalMoneyline
GB Packers-3.5 -102O 44.5 -110-180
PIT Steelers+3.5 -118U 44.5 -110+150

Green Bay has scored exactly 27 points in four games this season! The Packers won 27-23 in Arizona during Week 7. Both the Packers and Steelers are in the bottom eight for pace of play. Pittsburgh had won three straight and four of the first five games before getting clipped by the Flacco buzzsaw. Pittsburgh played last Thursday so they will have the extra days of rest advantage.

Monday Night Game – October 27

Commanders at Chiefs – 8:15 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, October 20

SpreadTotalMoneyline
WAS Commanders+10 -105O 48.5 -110+425
KC Chiefs-10 -115U 48.5 -110-575

Kansas City demolished Las Vegas, 31-0 in Week 7. Rashee Rice returned to action and scored two touchdowns. The Chiefs have won two straight and four of the last five, scoring at least 30 points in three of those contests. Washington not only lost the battle in Dallas, 44-22, but could be in danger of losing the war as Jayden Daniels left the game early with a hamstring injury. An MRI on Monday revealed that Daniels avoided significant injury, but his status is unknown for this one.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
