The Colts picked up their fifth win of the season with a 31-27 victory over the Cardinals last week. Now, they’ll head to the west coast to play the Chargers.
The Chargers are 4-2 but have lost two of their last three games.
Los Angeles is a 2.5-point favorite and -125 on the moneyline, while Indianapolis is +105 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 48.5 points.

Chargers vs. Colts Best Prop Bets
Jonathan Taylor first touchdown scorer (+425)
Let’s get a bit bold. Jonathan Taylor is the league-leader in rushing touchdowns and rushing + receiving touchdowns. He’s scored in four of six games thus far, but he’s been very productive in all six matchups.
While six of his touchdowns have come in two games, Taylor is as good of a bet for an anytime touchdown as there is. The Colts run their offense through him, with him being the lead rusher and an active receiver as well.
His anytime touchdown prop is set at -180, which is understandably pricey. There isn’t much value as a single bet, so let’s take a leap of faith with the first touchdown scorer prop. It’s valued at +425, giving bettors more juice for this late Sunday afternoon contest.
Kimani Vidal over 51.5 rushing yards (-112)
It was the Kimani Vidal show last week against the Dolphins. He entered the contest as the backup running back to Hassan Haskins, but quickly showed why he’s the top player in the backfield.
Vidal had 124 rushing yards on 18 carries and three receptions for 14 yards and one touchdown. It was a much-needed performance with the Chargers losing their top two running backs to injuries. With the new running back hierarchy established in Los Angeles, it’s likely that Vidal has another strong performance this week.
The Colts are 5-1 and allow the 12th fewest rushing yards to opposing teams, but this prop reflects that. Vidal doesn’t need another 100-yard performance. He just needs over 51.5 yards, which is easy for a Chargers’ team that averages the third most yards per carry in the league.
Los Angeles is equipped to run the ball, and with Vidal proving he’s capable of being a lead back, it would be foolish for the team not to give him the rock often.
Ladd McConkey over 61.5 receiving yards (-111)
Ladd McConkey was primed for a strong sophomore season, but Quentin Johnston stole the spotlight. The third-year wide receiver finally broke out, and Keenan Allen’s return made it even more difficult for McConkey to get consistent looks.
It may have been easy to forget what McConkey did as a rookie, but he quickly reminded fans why he’s a legit No. 1 option for the Chargers. With Johnston sidelined, McConkey posted 100 yards and a touchdown on seven receptions in Week 6 against the Dolphins.
This marks the second straight week he’s scored a touchdown, which could indicate Justin Herbert’s connection with him is growing. The hope is that McConkey’s Week 6 performance allowed him to retake the top spot in the Chargers’ wide receiver room.
