Two of the best Middleweight contenders in the world, Reinier de Ridder and Brendan Allen, will face off tonight in Vancouver. RDR is trying to increase his UFC win streak to 5-0 in the previous 11 months. Allen looks to win his second consecutive bout and move up in the 185-pound rankings.

Here is my best bet for Reinier de Ridder vs. Brendan Allen at this week’s UFC Fight Night in Vancouver, Canada.

Reinier de Ridder to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission (+110)

RDR was initially slated to face Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez on this card, but Allen stepped up since Hernandez got injured. De Ridder is coming off the biggest win of his UFC career against former UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker. That was one of the best fights of 2025, and RDR finished the contest with over nine minutes of control time, two takedowns, and 67 significant strikes.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, RDR is a -198 favorite while Allen is a +164 underdog in this matchup. This fight has an over/under of 3.5 rounds with the under being -135. RDR is +185 to win by submission and +350 via decision and KO/TKO/DQ.

In his career, 18 of RDR’s 21 victories have come by finish, and his decision victory against Robert Whittaker in July was his first win on the judges’ scorecards since 2021. RDR has never won back-to-back fights by decision in his career. In this matchup, RDR has a two-inch height advantage (6’4″ vs. 6’2″) and also holds the edge in standing reach (78″ vs. 75″). De Ridder’s stats may not stand out, but his fight IQ is elite. RDR does a terrific job of using all areas of his game to wear opponents down throughout the contest. In the UFC, RDR has also allowed only 2.44 significant strikes per minute from opponents, which is impressive.

Nassourdine Imavov recently extended his winning streak to five against Caio Borralho. If RDR wants to be the next person to challenge for the Middleweight title, he knows not only is a victory necessary, but one in spectacular fashion. That, along with RDR’s versatile skillset, is why I’m taking RDR to beat Allen by KO/TKO/DQ or submission at +110 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
