One of the most entertaining fighters in the UFC’s Lightweight division is Drew Dober, and he is back to take on Kyle Prepolec in a three-round bout. Dober has lost three straight fights and four of his last five, while Prepolec is coming off a loss via submission to Benoit Saint Denis at UFC 315.

Here is my best bet for Kyle Prepolec vs. Drew Dober on this week’s UFC Fight Night Prelims.

Drew Dober To Win By KO/TKO/DQ (+100)

Drew Dober has had an up-and-down UFC career, with a 13-10 record in the promotion. But one thing is for sure: when Dober fights, a finish is nearly guaranteed. In Dober’s previous 14 fights in the UFC, only two of them went to the judges’ scorecards. Dober has also won his last seven bouts by knockout, with his previous decision win coming in 2018.

On this card, Dober is the largest favorite at -440, with Prepolec being a +340 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. Dober is currently on a three-fight losing streak and hasn’t won a bout in two years. He has never suffered four consecutive defeats in his MMA career.

In this fight, Dober is a significantly better striker, landing more significant strikes per minute (4.36 vs. 2.87) at a five percent better rate (40% vs. 35%). In a bout that should be purely a striking battle, it is Dober’s fight to lose. Even when he has lost multiple fights in a row, Dober has shown the ability to bounce back.
