After losing to Tatsuro Taira in August, HyunSung Park is making a quick return to try and bounce back against Bruno Silva, who has lost two consecutive fights. Still, Silva has something Park wants, a ranking next to his name. This 125-pound fight is taking place on the Prelims of this card.

Before Park suffered his first loss two months ago, he won 10 straight fights with nine finishes. Park has also only ever appeared in one third round in his career. Although Taira is four years younger, he has more MMA experience than Park does. Park only landed three significant strikes in that fight and must be more aggressive to get a different result today.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Park is a -245 favorite while Silva is a +200 underdog. Park is three inches taller than Silva, which should benefit him in this contest. On paper, Silva is a slightly better striker as he lands 0.17 more significant strikes per minute while being more efficient (49% vs. 46%). But Silva gets hit a lot as he allows nearly five significant strikes per minute, which is alarming.
Both fighters in this fight are capable on the feet and the ground, but at 35 years old, Silva hasn’t looked like the fighter he once was. Silva hasn’t won a fight since July 2024, and after getting knocked out in back-to-back fights, he will likely enter this fight passively. With that being the case, it is best to get Park to win by KO/TKO/DQ or submission at +130.
