Another Sunday means another opportunity to hit it big in fantasy football. With that being said, there’s also plenty of risk for managers. It only takes one wrong move to derail your entire week. That’s why it’s imperative to find cheap, high-upside players to fill out your lineups.
Figuring out which low-cost options to target is easier said than done. Here are three value plays to consider in all DFS contests before Week 7’s ten-game featured slate.

WR Luke McCaffrey, Washington Commanders at DAL ($4,100)
Washington’s offense will be quite short-handed this weekend. Wide receivers Terry McLaurin (quad), Deebo Samuel (heel) and Noah Brown (groin) have all been ruled out. That leaves the Commanders with a rag-tag group of pass catchers on Sunday. Still, any game against this horrendous Cowboys secondary is an opportunity to put up points. Dallas has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing wideouts this season.
It’s anyones guess as to who will emerge as WR1 for Washington. On Monday vs. Chicago, Chris Moore led the team with three catches, 46 yards and a touchdown on five targets. However, the veteran hadn’t recorded a catch prior to last week. Another name worth considering is Luke McCaffrey. The second-year pro has only hauled in eight catches this season, but he’s found the end zone three different times. In addition, McCaffrey is averaging a whopping 22.4 yards per reception. That kind of big-play ability could serve the 24-year-old well in a potential shootout vs. Dallas.
WR Michael Wilson, Arizona Cardinals vs. GB ($3,800)
Much like Washington, the Cardinals are currently ravaged by injuries on offense. Quarterback Kyler Murray (foot) has already been ruled out, while wideout Zay Jones (knee) is questionable. Fellow pass catcher Marvin Harrison Jr. (concussion) will play despite leaving early during last week’s contest. Injuries could provide more opportunity for Michael Wilson to produce. The third-year pro hasn’t made much of an impact for Arizona this season. Through six games, he’s hauled in 12 catches for 96 yards and a touchdown.
Despite his mediocre production, Wilson has logged the second-most snaps for any Cardinals wide receiver. In addition, he delivered a solid four-catch, 44-yard performance last week with backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett ($4,500) under center. A similar showing on Sunday would be more than acceptable at $3,800. That’s without factoring in a potential absence for Jones, who snagged five catches for 79 yards in Week 6. Without the veteran, Arizona will be undermanned at wideout. A handful of catches feels like a reasonable target for Wilson against the Packers.
TE Chig Okonkwo, Tennessee Titans vs. NE ($3,300)
Calvin Ridley (hamstring) will not take the field this week for the Titans. Now, an already lackluster Tennessee offense will need to get creative. That could mean extra work for Elic Ayomanor ($4,200). The rookie wide receiver could find himself blanketed by star Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez. However, New England is still allowing an NFL-worst 7.9 yards per pass attempt. Quarterback Cam Ward ($4,600) will likely need to utilize several options to have success in the passing game.
One area where New England’s defense has struggled is over the middle of the field. The team has allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. That could set up Chig Okonkwo for another stellar stat line. Last week against the Raiders, he caught six passes for 46 yards. At 6’3″ and 238 pounds, he’s also a red zone target, although the Titans don’t get many scoring opportunities. Okonkwo is only the 16th-most expensive starting tight end on Sunday’s featured slate. That makes him a potential steal for fantasy managers.
