It’s a whole new ballgame in the ALCS, as the Blue Jays have gone into Seattle and tied up their series with the Mariners, 2-2. Meanwhile, the Brewers find themselves on the brink of elimination going into tonight’s Game 4 in Los Angeles against Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers. The schedule is as follows:
- Toronto Blue Jays (Kevin Gausman) at Seattle Mariners (Bryce Miller) — 6:08 p.m. ET (FS1)
- Milwaukee Brewers (TBD) at Los Angeles Dodgers (Shohei Ohtani) — 8:38 p.m. ET (TBS)
UPDATE: Jose Quintana will start tonight for the Brewers, per MLB.com’s Adam McCalvy.

MLB Odds & Storylines
In the first game of the day at 6:08 p.m. ET, things are all tied up at 2 as Kevin Gausman takes the ball for the Jays as they take on Bryce Miller and the Mariners at T-Mobile Park. Over at DraftKings Sportsbook, the Blue Jays are -116 on the moneyline, while the Mariners come in at -105, with the run total set at 7.
Blue Jays bats are a career 10-for-49 (.204) vs. Miller and he was strong in Game 1 of this series, however he was 0-1 with seven earned runs allowed in five innings pitched in his lone regular season start against the Jays and overall he was just 4-6 with a 5.68 ERA. Keeping that in mind, in his Best Prop Bets article, Zach Thompson highlights Miller over 1.5 earned runs allowed (-104). ZT says Miller caught Toronto at the right time in Game 1 coming off a few days off, but he doesn’t expect him to duplicate that success on Friday in Game 5. And let’s not forget that George Springer took Miller deep in Game 1, which could be why in his Top Home Run Props article, ZT highlights Springer 1+ Home Run (+405).
Then in our second game of the night, the Dodgers turn to Ohtani in their bid to punch their ticket to back-to-back World Series appearances. The Dodgers are -206 favorites on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the run total set at 7.5.
The Brewers have limited exposure to Ohtani on the mound, the Dodgers superstar picked up a win against the Phillies in the NLDS, giving up three runs on three hits with 9 Ks in six innings pitched. On the other side, the Brewers have yet to name a starting pitcher for tonight’s game. It should be noted that the Dodgers have led after 3 innings in six of their last eight home night playoff games (Dodgers Lead After 3 Innings -200). Given the lack of available pitching data on the Brewers side, ZT set his sights on a longshot for a Dodgers home run prop in his Top Home Run Props article, turning to Tommy Edman 1+ Home Run (+690). After earning a new deal in LA, Edman was limited to 97 games by injury but did bash 13 homers with just a .225 batting average although he did produce a .226 ISO and .284 wOBA. ZT does point out, however, that in the playoffs Edman is 9-for-31 (.290) with a pair of homers and has hit safely in all but one of his eight games.
