With Cincinnati struggling to pass the ball sans Burrow, the team traded for Joe Flacco from the Browns and he and Higgins displayed some solid chemistry in their first game together this past Sunday.

This set new season-highs in catches and yards for the wideout, and Higgins’ eight targets matched a season-high. The receiver handled a 22.9% target share – including one target over 20 yards – while running a route on 85% of his team’s dropbacks.
Furthermore, Higgins posted a 63% catch rate with Flacco at quarterback, which is a massive improvement on the 46.4% catch rate he averaged in his first five games of the season. While Higgins is facing a Steelers defense Thursday that is allowing the 14th-fewest yards per pass this season (6.4), this is a much easier matchup than the Packers defense he faced last Sunday and Higgins has a long history of thriving against Pittsburgh. The 26-year-old is averaging 87.1 receiving yards per game in his eight career matchups with the Steelers and he has cleared 47.5 receiving yards in six of these eight matchups. The Bengals should rely on their passing game as 5.5-point underdogs on DraftKings Sportsbook and Higgins should have no issues surpassing 47.5 receiving yards Thursday.
