The third annual AEW WrestleDream 2025 PPV is here, and it’s taking place in St.Louis, Missouri, at the Chaifetz Arena. The first three editions of this event took place in Washington, and this will be AEW’s second PPV in St. Louis, as they hosted WrestleDream there in April 2024.
This card features eight matches, including three matches occurring on the Tailgate Brawl card airing live on TNT and HBO Max at 6:00 p.m. ET. The WrestleDream PPV card begins at 7:00 p.m. ET, airing on PPV with HBO MAX and additional PPV providers.
“Hangman” Adam Page headlines the event as he is defending his AEW World Championship against former champion, Samoa Joe. Three other title matches are featured on WrestleDream. Full Card and Predictions
AEW World Championship Match: Hangman Adam Page (c) vs Samoa Joe
At WrestleDream, we will see “Hangman” Adam Page defend his title against Samoa Joe, and this will be the first singles matchup between the two in their careers. Samoa Joe, a former AEW World Champion, defended the title against Page and Swerve Strickland at AEW Revolution 2024.
Since beating Jon Moxley for the title at AEW All In Texas, Page has successfully defended it four times. Of AEW’s previous five PPV Main Events, Page has competed in four of them. Page has been on an excellent run this year, winning all five of his matches on PPVs. The second title reign of Page has had a good start, and Joe doesn’t seem like the right guy to end it.
Prediction: Hangman Adam Page defeats Samoa Joe to retain his AEW World Championship.
TNT Championship Match: Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Mark Briscoe
This match is labeled Kyle Fletcher vs. Mark Briscoe 5 since they have had four previous matches in the last 16 months. Briscoe won the first two matchups, but Fletcher came out on top in the last two matches between the two in 2025. Fletcher has been the TNT Champion for over 75 days, enjoying an excellent reign so far. Briscoe’s 2025 has been great, but Fletcher’s skillset is on another level and continues to improve in each big match.
Prediction: Kyle Fletcher defeats Mark Briscoe to retain his TNT Championship.
AEW Women’s World Championship: Kris Statlander (c) vs Toni Storm
At AEW All Out, Kris Statlander upset Toni Storm to win her first AEW Women’s Championship. Storm is a former four-time champion and is highly regarded as the greatest holder of this title in company history. During their careers, Statlander and Storm have competed in multiple triple threat and tag team matches, but Saturday will be their first singles match.
Statlander beat Storm in a three-way at All Out, but if she wants to solidify herself as the best women’s wrestler in AEW, she needs to defeat the former champion in a one-on-one match.
Prediction: Kris Statlander defeats Toni Storm to retain the AEW Women’s Championship.
I Quit Match: Darby Allin vs. Jon Moxley
Since Darby Allin returned to AEW in July, he has had one primary rival: Jon Moxley. The two are coming off a brutal coffin match at All Out, with Moxley picking up the victory. But after that match, Allin came out on top as he attempted to light Moxley on fire. They have had four singles matches in AEW, and Moxley holds a 4-0 record over Allin.
Although Allin has been unable to beat Moxley in the past, he now enters a do-or-die situation. Allin needs to beat Moxley to put his name back into AEW World Championship contention. As all of their matches are, this one will be another violent contest between two wrestlers who are willing to do anything to pick up a victory.
Prediction: Darby Allin defeats Jon Moxley.
AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Brodido (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita
After facing each other at All Out, Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita have recently gotten on the same page. They tagged together to win their first tag team match against the champions, Brodido, last week, earning a title opportunity. That was Brodido’s first tag team loss since becoming a team in May. Even though Bandido and Brody King haven’t been a team for long, they still have more chemistry than Okada and Takeshita. Regardless of overall talent, the team with more continuity tends to win more often in tag team competition.
Prediction: Brodido defeats Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita to retain their AEW World Tag Team Championship.
Trios Match: The Hurt Syndicate vs. The Demand
For the second straight PPV, The Hurt Syndicate and The Demand will face off once again. Since they lost their tag team titles to Brodido at Forbidden Door in August, they have gone 1-2 with two losses against The Demand. After losing their last two matches on a PPV, The Hurt Syndicate is due for a big victory. If they win this match, Trios Gold could be next for the group.
Prediction: The Hurt Syndicate defeats The Demand.
$500,000 Tag Team Match: The Young Bucks vs. Jurassic Express
In 2024, Jack Perry was a part of The Elite with The Young Bucks, but after Full Gear 2024, Perry was off of AEW television. But at AEW All Out, Perry made a surprising return to combat The Young Bucks. After Perry reunited with Luchasarus to reform Jurassic Express, they will take on The Bucks in a tag team match at WrestleDream.
The two teams have faced each other twice, with The Young Bucks winning both times. Even though the Young Bucks have done an excellent job of rebuilding themselves lately, it would be surprising to see Jurassic Express lose their first tag team match on a PPV together since Double or Nothing 2022.
Prediction: Jurassic Express defeats The Young Bucks.
Singles Match: Thekla vs. Jamie Hayter
Thekla joined AEW a few months ago and has quickly become one of the rising stars in the women’s division. She is 4-0 in one-on-one matches with wins over Lady Frost, Queen Aminata, and Willow Nightingale. This has the potential to be an incredible showcase between two of the best women’s wrestlers in AEW.
Prediction: Thekla defeats Jamie Hayter.
AEW Saturday Tailgate Brawl Card
Tag Team Match: FTR vs. JetSpeed
After FTR lost to Adam Copeland and Christian Cage at All Out, they need to get back in the win column. FTR has lost on back-to-back AEW PPV, and the former decarated champions haven’t been as dominant as they once were. Now they have a match against one of the greatest and fastest rising tag teams in AEW, JetSpeed.
Prediction: FTR defeats JetSpeed.
Tag Team Match: Penelope Ford & Megan Bayne vs. Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron
Throughout 2025, Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne have been wrestling as a tag team. Ford and Bayne are 4-2 in their six tag team matches together. In 2024, Nightingale and Cameron wrestled each other twice but have now competed as a team this year. Since Ford and Bayne have teamed longer, it gives them the edge in this contest.
Prediction: Penelope Ford & Megan Bayne defeat Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron.
8-Man Tag-Tam Match: The Conglomeration vs. Death Riders
The Death Riders have had The Conglomeration’s number in the past and recently beat them in a tag team competition. With the addition of Daniel Garcia and the return of Pac, the Death Riders have only gotten stronger. Until a group poses a serious threat to the Deathriders, it is hard to see a team stopping them.
Prediction: The Death Riders defeat The Conglomeration.
